LOSING THE WILL

    Can anyone help please? I am on 790 and have stuck to the diet rigidly for 8 days now. But I don't seem to have lost anything for the last 3 days which is beginning to get me down and is making me think what's the point of putting myself through this. Should I stop weighing myself every morning? I do this to give me the will to go on but it's starting to have the opposite effect.

    The only thing I think I could be doing wrong is having a few too many vegetables but could that really slow down my weight loss.

    Any advice / encouragement would be very very welcome.

    How much do you have to lose?

    Definiately stop weighing yourself every morning if it is starting to upset you. Sometimes our scales 'stick' for no obvious reason, and then it all drops off in one go!

    With regard to the vegetables, they do have a small amount of carbs in so any additional veg could be knocking you out of ketosis. Maybe wiser to up your calorie intake to 1000 plan as it has additional protein, this could kick start your weight loss again.

    Don't give up!!

    Thank you for words of encouragement - it really helps. I don't want to give up and I won't - just having my first blip I think!

    I have two stone to lose and have lost 8lbs since I started 8 days ago. I think I will really cut down on the veg for the next few days and see if that makes a difference. I am not actually having that much but maybe it still needs to be less. And will stop weighing myself every day.

    Just try and carefully weigh everything for the next few days, and then I will allow you to get on the scales and check if it has made any difference!!!! :D

    Everyone's body loses at different rates, it's damn annoying but oh so true. And 8lb in 8 days is blimming fantastic!

    Ease the pressure on yourself a bit, and you'll probably find those stubborn fat cells just melt away on there own .....

    So chin up chuck, we all have the wobbles from time to time. Just come on here and you will get the support you need.

    Thank you - feels loads better. Think I am def putting too much pressure on myself. I am very impatient and came on this diet for fast results. Sure it will continue to work at it's own pace.

    Hurrah. Off for my first shake of the day now!!!
