Losses so far

Just wondered what people have lost in what amount of time doing ss and does it differ depending on your starting weight?
My starting weight is 16-8 and I'm 5 ft 6

I find if you want motivation, it's good to read the posts on this page Weekly Weigh Ins. A lot of people's pages put how much they're are losing, and how they find it. And of course everyone's losses are different depending on size, metabolism etc. I found I was looking for inspiration for weeks asking how quickly I could lose it, and in the mean time I was half heatedly trying.

Best thing I did was get a consultant and get started. I'm only on Day 4 but doing ok so far on 3 or 4 shakes a day. I started at 12 stone but have 2 stones to lose. My consultant says a stone a month is very realistic, but I see alot of people on here lose 10lbs in their first weeks so maybe the bigger you are, the quicker it comes off. I guess it depends on what you're eating before the diet starts.

Been having a look through today to distract myself. It's day 3 tomorrow and not been too bad really so far. Am hungry n nibbled some cheese tonight but surprised myself.

I was hungry today too and wasn't out with my shakes etc so I had some tuna. I stay clear of cheese because it's sooo high in fat. At least eating fish I know is good for me, brain food apparently.

I've been struggling to drink 5 litre of water like some girls manage but it's definitely easier as each days goes by. Its making me realise too, how often I ate mindlessly when I wasn't hungry. It's nice to feel more in control.

5 litres u only need to drink 2 litres a day. U don't lose more drinking more but u lose less if u drink less than 2 litres.
When I did it 2 years ago I only drank 2 litres a day. X

That's not the general consensus on here, heaps of people who drink more seem to get better results. 2 litres is what I was drinking before this diet so my consultant suggested the more we drink, the easier it is to flush out the crap. I aim for 3 or 4 litres though!
 
Well I hardly ever drank anything all the extra water does is flush the ketones out. I have a coffee on top of my 2 litres n 20 ice cubes in each shake. I'd be up all night weeing if I had more x

Hi,

I too am 5ft 6 and weighed 15st 10lb at my first weigh in. I have stuck to it 100% and lost 12lb in my first week so you can loss a lot. I would def avoid the chesse though, if you really must eat/nibble I would have something like chicken off of the SS+ list in your book. Good luck
 
I'm 5"7 and started CD SS 2 weeks ago weighing 12st 3, lost 5lbs first week and another 3lbs today - also lost 2.5in from waist, 2in from thighs, 1in from chest and hips.

Really enjoying it and not missing food at all, I aim to drink 2.5-3 litres water per day (not including tea and coffee). I get the odd craving but am managing most of the time just fine. Just starting week 3 and have just under 4 weeks til my holiday and til my target goal weight of 11 stone.

Thanks Liz, I am getting some wafer thin ham/chicken today when hubby goes shopping i only had cheese as it was only thing in fridge that wasn't carby. Your first week loss is super bet you're chuffed. I was 15-10 before I went on holiday and I wanna be 14 stone before I go to Tenerife in October xx

Are we allowed ham? I thought only chicken breast too? I'm not sure I would like to have bits in the house as I would pick.

Yes def chuffed with it, get weighed again tomorrow, hoping for 3-4 lb :D

It's not on ss+ list but my CDC said nibble some ham if things get bad x

How was weigh in??

I feel really bloated today and don't feel like I've lost any weight and I was so hungry after Zumba I ate tuna salad!! Tomorrow's weigh in should be interesting!
 
i am 5'7, was 150lbs and lost 5.7lbs in first week but I think my period might have interfered a bit with water retention or whatever - i want one of these weeks where you lose 10lbs! so jelz of some of the women on here!
 
Me too!! I have 3 weeks to shed a stone at least!!
I'm 5'8 and weighed 165lbs but lost 4.5 lbs yesterday. I did a variation of SS+ 810 some days as I had commitments that made it very hard to just drink shakes. This week I'm hoping for 7lb maybe!!!
 
it's easier for me to stick to because i just moved to singapore and don't have any friends yet, so it's easier to stick with the diet as a loner! i think you will do a stone in 3 weeks no problem. i have this 'uy i have a major crush on coming to visit on july 26 and i need to be the same size as i was when i saw him last 3 years ago (how embarrassing if he notices i've been on the cakes!), so i am hoping to lose another 10lbs in the 2 weeks i have left, which is pushing it! worried that weight-loss will slow - down... i've seen some people losing 2lbs a week after first few weeks are over - you can lose that on weight watchers having real food!?! i will feel so robbed if thate20happens to me cause this diet really isn't easy!

I've fallen off the wagon and eaten today. I had eggs. I find weekends so hard and especially find turning down lunches out to socialising hard. But I'm trying to focus on the end goal. A bikini!!!

I'm gonna go and exercise today I think!!

i went away for the weekend where i was around real life human beings for a change and i messed up majorly starting on the plane! plane food is vile, so i don't know why i find it so irresistible! I had a day and a half off in terms of meals (i ate pasta twice and lots of white bread :( ) and i put on 3lbs! in 2 days! i weight more now that i did a week ago! so pissed off with myself!!! and this stupid diet wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
