I'm getting married august 2013 :)

oo lovely! great to have something to aim for and you will easily get to goal by then judging by your weight losses so far, so plenty of time to enjoy being slim before the wedding! when do you have to order your dress by??

i did enjoy my meal thank you! i had a teaplate of chinese, just rice, chips and curry sauce, very small portion but lovely to taste so i think i struck a balance between not overeating and enjoying some tasty food! got back onto SS straight away so am pleased with that and am focusing for another month of SS! Got a training day in London in May so may have to have a small break for that depending on how easy it'll be to have a shake when i'm away but we have booked breakfast with our hotel so i might opt for bacon and egg to stay protein based if I have to have food! x

hey skinnys! yes its my weigh in day after work tonight, dont think i've done too well this week, maybe 1lb off if im lucky, seems to be every 3 weeks for me but i am due on again next week so that could be an issue, not sure! we'll see tonight! i'll keep checking in on your diary too!
 
Every 3rd week is usually crap for me too! How strange ...
But its usually followed by a big one the next week ;)
And chinese is very salty so u might have a lil water retention but don't worry.

thanks! yes that whats i thought, its prob a combination of the chinese and the fact i'm due on next week too, not a great week with water retention but like you say hopefully next week will balance out! i've set myself a mini goal of losing 10lbs this month and i've lost 3lbs so far so hopefully i can pull it out of the bag by end of April! this month is a short one though so maybe May will be a better month overall as its a 5 week month. got holidays in June then so hoping to get down well into the 9s by then!

i lost 2lbs, pleased considering I thought i may have lost 1lb, just hope that next week I can have a decent loss as I've just realised that when I had my 1lb loss during week 3 it was when I had my TOTM which is due next week, i originally thought that this week might be slower because i am due on but when i counted back it was actually during my TOTM that i had the slow loss and not the week b4 so not sure how it'll go next week but hoping for at least 2 lbs again. determined to stick to SS for another 2 weeks until the end of April then may introduce some SS+ days to speed my metabolism up if i feel i need it!

hope you're doing ok starting back, just try and focus on gettting through these next few days and hitting ketosis, you'll feel better when you're there!

thanks! until my counsellor mentioned about my weight loss i had really thought about how much i'd lost. she said that if i lose another 6lbs then i'll have lost 2 stone, which if that comes off by 1st week of May, that'll be 2 stone over the 2 month period so it really does average out as long as you stick to SS and the weight comes off! i think because i'm slowing down a bit, naturally after the first few weeks, then you dont think you're losing weight as quickly but its surprising how those little losses every week add up!!

hope you're doing ok, are you on around day 4 now?
 
have had a good weekend, went out with my friends for a few hours to a local club-pub and drank water, well done me! i find it easier to drink water when i'm out as i always feel that i need a drink with me when out socialising so i find i drink my 4 litres compared with just being in work or in the house, i dont remember to drink half the time! stuck to ss fully again this week, had a few glasses of coke zero as an extra but trying to be extra as TOTM week this week coming so not expecting good loss but if i stick to SS, it should hopefully come off the week later. nearing my 2 stone weight loss, only 6lbs to go so will be halfway there then! april is a shorter month (that's my excuse if i dont reach my 2 stone target!) but hopefully i'll reach it in early May which gives me the rest of the summer to get to my overall goal :)
 
weighed in last night, lost 4lbs! cant believe it, so happy, really thought i'd only lost around 2lbs again this week so it seems that every 3rd week is not a good week for me but the week after is ok! hopefully this pattern will continue (would prefer a better 3rd week tho!) but am happy with the losses so far! only 2 more lbs and i'm at my 2 stone halfway point :) :) need to have good weight losses throughout May so hoping that SS will come good for me for the next weeks ahead. i'm on an 810 week at the start of May because i'm in London over 2 days so i'll have to eat something, so i'm upping the calories to factor that in and to see whether upping a step will boost my metabolism

thanks! yes i'm near to halfway now, another 2lbs for the 2 stone mark and another 5lbs to get into the 9s, both little goals i'm hoping to achieve in the next few weeks. how are you finding CD this week? did Germany go ok for you? it is hard when you're away from home to stick to it as you dont always have the things you need to make the shakes properly. i'm going to london in 2 weeks with work so i'm going to have 2 soups b4 i travel and a chicken tikka (there's only an indian by the hotel, not a lot of choice) then the next day there's breakfast included so if i stick to bacon and eggs or omelette even, i should be ok!
 
feeling very positive this week, hoping i can reach my 2 stone halfway mark next week but am weighing in a day earlier due to uni commitments so not sure if weight loss will be different, i always find that having that full week helps sometimes, how odd!

also looking forward to getting into the 9s, 5lbs to go to get to 9st 13lbs, if i can be really really good over the next 2-3 weeks I should be there in no time. Bring on May!
 
Hey you doing so great am really happy for you but at the same time I envy you as we both started at the same time and you lost 2stones and I only 6lb. Feel really gutted. Let's hope this week will be my week where things turn around for me.

you'll get there! sometimes things just get in the way but you are getting back on track and that's the main thing. i'm a bit panicky about my holidays coming up in june, i dont want to put on a load of weight after just losing it so i'm hoping i can be good and stick to protein when i'm away to minimise weight gain!
 
weigh in tonight, weighed yest morn at home and was 10st 2lbs but today am 10 st 3 lbs again :( feeling down about this as i never go up in the mornings from a previous weigh in, plus if this is the same by tonight 's weigh in then i'll have only lost 1lb (if i'm lucky!) and again i'll be just short of my 2 stone mark. the same thing happened when i was waiting for my 1st stone, i lost 1lb instead of 2lbs to reach the stone mark! must be just my luck!
 
had weigh in last night and only lost 1lb! bit frustrating as I've been SS all week plus i needed 2lbs to reach my 2 stone mark but I have achieved my April goal that I set up in the challenge thread so that's something at least. i got measured too, lost another 7.5 inches including 3 from my hips again, cant believe that area is finally shifting! hope to have a good month in May before my holidays in June so will get going on reaching my May goals asap. hoping to get to that 2 stone mark soon enough, hopefully by next week!!
 
Well done hun! Even if your loss wasn't great in lbs its definitely coming off in inches!
Congrats on the hips especially, they can be a real bugger to shift!

thank you!! yes cant believe the hips, i've lost 6 inches altogether from them and they are my absolute worst area! i even measured again when my CDC went to get my shakes upstairs just to double check as i couldnt believe it, i thought she might have measured in the wrong area!! i've been looking at size guides on shops like new look and dotty perkins to see what sizes 8 and 10 hips are and am aiming for that now! i've got roughly 6 weeks til my holiday so giong to push to get as small as i can be to go away!! x
