Lunchtime boredom, suggest a couple of meals for me please!!!

What about oven chips, veg and a breaded cod fillet, and a dollop of reduced fat coleslaw?
Or make a chicken wrap with breaded chicken and salad and sweet chilli sauce?
Make your own curry or spaghetti bolognese?
Sweet and sour?
Beans and cheese on toast?
WW meal with lots of veg (or salad) and a handful of oven chips, or a bap?

What are you fed up with? I'm off to asda soon to get some salad and make a nice big salad for lunch with chicken, yumm lol xx

Hi Jim, I would steer clear of pasta and rice as the amount of them you get for a few hundred calories is pants - I didn't realise they were so high in calories when I used to snarf a bowlful. my suggestions are:
Turkey/chicken curry served with any kind of veg rather than rice
lasagne made with sliced courgette instead of pasta
a big omelette and salad
slow-cooker stews with plenty of veg
replace meat with quorn where possible
low fat sausages, grilled toms & mushrooms, poached eggs/beans
white fish with a spicy veg topping
sugar free jelly as pud

Stir Fry. [Beansprouts, baby corn, pak choi, mushrooms ect]

Quorn sausage sandwich with Nimble bread.

Quorn burger with veg and thin gravy.

WW soup with nimble bread toast.

Tinned tomatos with tinned green beans.

A huge salad.

A warm salad with grilled chicken or soy sauce fried chicken.

Ww meal with salad/veg.

Ummm..im just trying to think what else i eat..

Mushrooms cooked with veg stock and curry powder.

Jacket potato with ww beans or coleslaw orrr really light cheese spread.

For me it's generally soup with a roll. but other low cal faves of mine:

mushrooms on toast
toms on toast
beans on toast
Veg stirfry
massive crunchy salad with ham
tins of chickpea dahl etc
