Magic grapefruit?

    I saw this article on the BBC website and thought it may be of interest to those who, like myself, are insulin resistant.

    I thought I might have a go at including some grapefruit in my diet to see if it has any positive effect. Can't hurt (extra fruit and all that) and if it DOES help me metabolise carbs better then that would be brilliant! Not an expensive addition either.

    So maybe there was something in the Grapefruit Diet after all. Worth a try, if you like grapefruit.

    interesting, just one point, you should't have grapefruit if you take statins (for high cholesterol)
