Just made a CD shake, first time without a blender. Didn't really know what to do so I mixed the powder with a little bit of water, slow adding more water. I don't even have a whisk here! ha It's pretty darn lumpy though. Anyone else have a different method not involving a whisk or blender? I might have to go back to my parents to pick up my blender and my shaker cup!

I mix them with a bit of water until they are cake batter consistency, then eat them with a spoon as I don't like them as shakes!

That doesn't help you much though. My CDC sells a kind of manual shaker with a grill at the top that takes out the lumps.

It wasn't toooo bad in the end, could cope with it! I've got one of those shakers with the grill thing, just it's at my parents!

Ooh I might take a look Megan! No chance I'm making the porridge without one!

I think you're right Kerry, I'm either going to have to get my blender or deal with lumps!

you dont really need a blender for the porridge, i put mine in a bowl mix it thru with a fork so theres no big lumps then when it comes out the microwave its fine
