I came in looking for a May weight loss challenge thread, but there isn't one yet (unless I'm being blind!) I hope it's okay for me to make one (also, boring thread title is boring...)

As with the other monthly challenge threads, it doesn't matter which weight loss method you're using or what your target is, everyone's welcome! Please post with your target weight loss for May and feel free to update the thread with your losses each week. :)

Eeek, I came back from holiday yesterday so I expected a gain as I ate like a pig, but not such a big gain... 6lb! I'm chugging the green tea as I type. Not sure if I'll be able to lose 11lb in total this month, but I'm going to give it everything I've got!
 
i would like to join i have a monthly target too, get as much off as i can i am doing cambridge diet, i am on day 4 finding it good so far, i still have my determined head on, good luck everyone.

Me too, I am setting a 2.5kg target for this month. April was week 2-6 for me and I lost 4kg but know I will slow down now. I am also still on "medical leave" from swimming. 1st May had me at exactly 75kg so 72.5kg at end on month would be great.

For me WI is Saturdays, and I've started May at 14.11, and I'm on Lighter Life which is like Cambridge etc, so I'd love to be in the 13s by June, but that's quite hopeful!...

I've said 4lbs off because I wasn't weighed last Saturday, but lost :eek: 8lb in two weeks! :D so doing an average of the two :)

Currently 15.10.4
Would like to be 15.4.0 by the end of May.
Weigh in for me is Friday's but will try to make it by last Friday of the month.

Great losses everyone, well done. I have had a "lost weekend" with cooking, cleaning, entertaining, partying, eating and drinking so no idea if weight has been gained or lost and due to "technical difficulties" I cant weigh in today. Back tomorrow so fingers crossed that its not a gain at least.

So I have gained 1lb! I now weigh half a stone more than the beginning of the month!!! His week is star week plus I've also begun exercising so I'm hoping the weight I've gained this week will be lost by next week. I'm going to keep my target at 5lb as I'll want to give up if I increase it to add the 7lb I've gained! I hope that's okay. If not I'm prepared to bow out of the challenge for this month and start afresh next month. I'm not giving up trying to lose this weight though!
