Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Well.. I have an ac separation (my collar bone is not connected to my shoulder bone..) and my rotator cuff of my shoulder is prob damaged ( may need key hole surgery) and my upper arm bone where it was broken is curved not straight.. A right mess! I have to have an MRI to check everything and then I will see specialist after that which will be in 3-4 mths .. SIGH .. MRI waiting list is 5 weeks unless it is thought to be urgent! I hope they think it is urgent!!

Good thing he did say I was to continue with my kettlercise classes at a lower weight avoiding stressing shoulder etc.. But keeping the strength up :)

So at least I know a bit more!

Just need to get my eating back in control!!
 
Seems like they ate getting to the bottom of the problem. Glad you can get back to kettle bell x
 
Awww sounds a bit manic for you, but at least you know what the problem is now and they can start sorting you out. Hope they dont take too long with MRI scan appointment xxx
 
Had a better day today.. Avoided eating loads of toast, have set my kcal level higher to see if that helps :)

My kettlercise class is stopped for Easter school hols, but will take kids to park and stuff :) and do my DVDs Tuesday Zumba is still on..

Not very proud of my food intake this week, only one day out of 7 was ok.. I am determined to do better!

Going for a walk/ jog round the block in a while :)

I don't know what if anything I can do to try & help but you are risking your Dr not prescribing any more tablets. I keep saying you can do this but YOU have to believe you can else it isn't going to happen x

Thanks, I know what I need to do.. I just have to do it.. :( I need to get my head back on track.. It is almost like starting at the beginning all over a again.. With my head I mean.. Tomorrow is a new day!!
 
I had always thought the south beach diet was a bit of a "hollywood" type diet .. I have been struggling to change my diet to a mod GI diet/ low- good fat .. After reading another persons diary who is doing it, I got the kindle version of the diet and sounds good.. So started phase 1 at dinner tonight.. I have already dropped potatoes/ rice/ pasta just struggling with the cookies and rice cakes and bread...

Have had a fairly ok day today.. Not great but much better!

Ended up not running last night as was too dark.. OH worried about me out on my own.. So to night off with neighbour :)

Just run for 37 mins with wee bit of walking too HRM says burnt 325 kcals! Feels pretty good.. Chest is a bit tight, but all good.. Just got to convince my OH to do my 20 min kettleworx DVD... :)
 
Also did 26 mins of kettleworx core DVD burnt 165 kcals

Have planned breakfast and lunch. Have to think about dinner .. I only like to cook once for everyone ..
 
I have lost 200g this week.. Better than the gains and sts I have had for last few weeks..

I have a docs WI this morning.. I know it's not going to be a loss on their scales.. Just hope they understand, I left the path of good intentions .. For the evils of sugar! Due to stressing myself out.. Sigh not a good reason.. Need to learn to cope better!

But I'm back now :) on my intended path!
 
Any way a quick trip to the loo and blew my nose I dropped another 200gs.. So total lost this week is 400g..

Doc was ok with WI once I explained about me stressing about my shoulder, and she had a look at my notes.. I also mentioned that I had not taken my tablets properly for the last mth as I had lost confidence in them working.. And about the shortage.. So I have a mths grace to get my "SH1T" together so have 2 prescriptions to fill if I can..
 
Yay have my MRI scan appt in 2 weeks - I have been classed as "urgent" otherwise I would have had to wait 5 weeks.., just need to change my specialist appt from Aug to beginning of May..
