Mince!!!

Similar to my 'cheese!!' thread lol

I saw on here that someone said you can get mince less that 5% fat but cant find any, even the lean steak mince is 11g fat per 100g, can anyone reccomend one please?

Or will it have to be quorn??

Asda's extra lean mince is less than 5% fat, think it's actually 3% fat

I think i have found it, it is called reduced fat mince but for some reason on that one it doesnt give nutritional values

I'd be really wary then Lisa, as the one I buy specifically has on the label extra lean beef mince and it's £2.99 per pack.
Reduced fat doesn't mean low fat hun.

Hiya I've been to asda today and found 'extra lean mince' less
than 5g!!!! Very pleased!! I can enjoy my spag bol tonight without feeling guilty!!

For some strange reason I can't find the extra lean in the asda near me I have however found it in Tesco. I didn't buy it though, I can't believe the price.... almost 3 squid for a small amount. I'd rather stay mince free lol... I sound like a right cheapo.

I know reduced fat doesnt mean low fat hun, but it said it was 'reduced fat extra lean mince' well the extra lean mince was about 11g of fat so i figured the reduced fat one would maybe be around the 5g mark
