I posted this recipe in another thread yesterday - that went onto sink without a trace (I have that effect on threads....:sigh:)

So for anyone looking for a tasty burger recipe (my own concoction) I thought I would add it here so it's easier to find:

Here is my recipe:
Dry Fry Extra Lean Lamb mince then drain all excess fat.
Season with salt/pepper and lots of dried mint.
Crumble in (raw) Extra Lean Beef mince - add garlic and chilli ( I use lazy garlic/chilli)
I then pour over a stupid amount of Bovril - buy the catering size from Costco (much more reasonable)
Then get my hands in and REALLY combine all ingredients
Then make burger shapes (I use an egg ring) round a babybel light cheddar (optional).
Dry fry each side for 1 min then transfer into the oven to cook through...

Hope someone tries them and enjoys them as much as I do!:)
 
I also assumed I would add water so brill question!

These sound good. I do a similar thing for meatballs but without the bovril. I am going to try these on Saturday.

A cheese burger and X Factor...what more could a girl want?!!
 
I make these but put in laughing cow lights instead....goes all nice a gooey!
 
mmmmmmm i am so hungry!! very good idea tho cos i find my burgers tend to go a bit dry so the cheese and bovril will be a nice change!
