Hi all starting this new journal today
some like Jim :D might remember me from last time but it has been quite a while since I hung up my Atkin boots

I've been trying a bit of this and that a stint at Slimming World and a stint at The Biggest Loser Club haha!!
TBLC ended badly when the so called Webmaster posted on someones post who had just come off Atkins to go on TBL meal replacement anyway long and short of it was Atkins got called a FAD by this webmaster and I being me lol
Defended it's honour and told him he had a right cheek calling it that the years it's been going and the amount of followers it has etc and if he wanted to look at FADS maybe he should start looking closer to home as TBL shakes & bars system was hardly normal eating
I got banned lol

But alas in my defence of Atkins I realised
that Atkins is where I belonged and I'm now about to start Induction tomorrow

I can't believe you got banned for giving an opinion, Kally! That probably says quite a lot in and of itself. I wouldn't call meal replacement diets a fad - they've been going a long time, things like Cambridge, and they do work - but one that ties in with a popular TV show that doesn't even feature it on the show... well, it doesn't make it sound*un*gimmicky, does it.

At least I got my subscription back from them haha!!

Anyway

Day one - induction day

Meal one
1 Burger with 1 x Lc sausage
Plus a tomato

Meal two
Roast beef
Mashed cauli and greens

Snacks
Mim with cream cheese
A few prawns
Also made some Parmesan crisps so may have a couple of those :D

Hi kally, happy sunday.
Those parmesan crisps sound good - keep thinking of making them - but tend to just eat the parmesan everytime i go near it! :D

I'm starting the pig to twig low carb plan tomorrow, I am admitting to feeling better without the carbs so am going to give it a darn good go. Happy induction to you x

I hope to last the course this time round.

Well last night I had a mini little blow out
lots of low fat high carbed stuff knocking around so in my wisdom decided to use what I could up
One of my many faults - I hate wasted food lol
it's probably the main reason I ended up so fat in the first place
So I had a couple bags of lf crisp etc and
got it completely out of my system
Managed to get OH to throw the rest of the rubbish out for me
and need to do massive low carb friendly shop but all in all found enough stuff to get on track today :D
