I started slimming world on 1st October and am hoping to lose 2 stone by christmas, it's been suggested that I keep a food diary so I'm going to give it a go and see if it helps me! Any ideas or suggestions would be greatfully received as I am new to slimming world and have not quite got my head round it yet.

Monday 6th October

breakfast

Your diet looks really good hun! :) Nice and balanced - maybe add a couple more syns to stop you feeling deprived as the days/weeks go on. Other than that i'd say it looks fab! :D

All looks great to me! Plenty of fruit and veg, lots of water, using up your HEXs, eating plenty of free foods. Fab! I wish I could do all of that in one day... I struggle so much with fruit and veg!

If you like having a little meat on a green day you can also think about doing Mix2Match so you don't have to use your HEXBs for bacon, chicken etc. If you search the forums, you'll find more details. Also on the SW website.

Thanks ste, I try very hard to get my girls to eat plenty of fruit and veg so have to be seen doing so myself lol

I had my first weigh in today and I've lost 2.5 lb it's not as much as I'd of liked with it being the first week but considering it totm and I feel really bloated I'm happy and going to continue sticking with the plan!

Friday 10th October

I'm having a really bad day so far...we all got up late and kids ended up being late for school, i forgot I'd arranged to go shopping with my dad and he was waiting outside when I got back from dropping kids off, while out with him my nan phoned to say my grandad wasn't well so could i call there, I think I've done more walking today so far than the rest of the week put together(and I walk alot!!) and my 2 year old has now declared I'm a mean mummy-poor little thing-although I don't blame her because she was walking too! I have yet to have anything to eat and am sat here waiting for my grandads doctor to arrive, my stomachs rumbling and i'm thinking of all the things I really shouldn't eat but want lol. My little girl has been fed please don't think i'm starving her!

I didn't get time to finish my shopping and have no idea what we have left at home so this might change yet!

I most certainly was lol i was trying to avoid eating naughty food by having a drink instead much to hubbys amusement!

Tuesday 14th October

Lost 1.5 lbs at weigh in today, I kinda get the feeling it's going to be a long slow journey this time...last time I dieted I was lossing 3-5lbs a week but that was on weight watchers and I became food and point obsessed! I will keep at it though as it is such a healthy way of eating and thinking about food.

What happens to the SW plan when you are preggers? Are you just gonna carry on following it?
