mushroom stroganoff advice please!

I've got a load of mushrooms in the fridge so wanted to make a mushroom stroganoff. Do you think it'll work with quark as that's all I have...?

Any responses greatly appreciated - never made a muhroom stroganoff before,

Hmmmm not sure as I have never made it before either. I think quark might be too thick on its own so maybe mix it with a little stock. I say experiment and let us know how you get on.

Oh and another thing you could do with mushrooms is do garlic mushrooms on toast! Just fry them in frylight and garlic till softened. yum.
 
I used to make it with yoghurt when i was pushed! The way to do it, is to wait till everything is cooked, THEN take off the heat, wait a minute & then add the yoghurt/quark.
If u add it when its too hot, it will curdle & go all bitty! Personally, I would still eat it... lol
