I was apparently 12stone 3 last weigh in, which gave me a loss of 11lbs.. i was a bit sceptical.. so i weighed myself on one of those wee machines in a shopping centre and was 12 stone 10lb, although it also said i was 5ft 8.8? then the one in work.. i was 12stone 8lb

I switched to cambridge diet last week and it was the cambridge diet counsellors scale that weighed me at 12, 3.. she comes again today.. so should i just go by her scales now?

I feel all muddled up :(

Missy.......you don't weigh yourself at home do you? I think that as long as you continue to go down on the same set of scales, whoever they 'belong' to then you'll be ok!

I think it's really difficult to go by the scales at the pharmacy or at the CD counsellor particularly as you will get weighed at different times and wearing different clothes.....that's why I weigh myself every morning (after I've been for a pee!) and with no clothes on, that way there's no variation whatsoever and I know that I am going down!

cambridge diet counsellor comes to my house and weighs me on her scales.. i knew last week was wrong cos i just got weighed.. i'm 12 stone 4, and i couldn't have went up a lb from doing 100% all week, its odd. so i'll go by shopping centres last week .. which said 12, 9 (loss of 5lbs) then 12, 4 (loss of 5 lbs)

sounds sensible! Your weight losses look good, how are you finding CD as opposed to LT?

i only went for the cd as they have ready made shakes which are handy for college, i have had the regular mix yourself shakes.. on a previous cd attempt but they are nothing special despite the range of flavours.. i found it just as limiting cos i didn't like anything!. But i'm not gonna lie.. the banana bliss ready made shake is amazinggg, and i could drink it if i wasn't on a diet.. its just really nice. Tiny thou.. could do with a litre or so of it. Its also 2 pound cheaper and comes delivered to my house.. so more handy for me that way.. this will be my second week on cd just.

Sounds good! I don't subscribe to the idea that you should see the shakes as 'medicine' I want to actually enjoy mine.....well nearly!

I got to say I work off my own scales as on weigh in day I weigh myself first thing in the morning, The scales at the pharmacy are in KGs and the pharmacist has to convert to stones and has messed up a couple of times, saying I have lost more than I have.
I also think that when I come off LT I will be monitoring my weight with my own scales.

I quite like the Lipotrim shakes, but love Slimfast shakes, and usually have those for a fast, nutritious breakfast even when not dieting lol. With CD and the ready made packs, they are really nice frozen and then peeled out of their packs and eaten like a block of ice cream :) (I did CD years ago ;) ) xx
