My 5k Goal

I'm starting LL tomorrow night, to keep me motivated my friend and I have registered for the Race For Life.
So I will be using my free evenings (no cooking, washing up, eating out) to go on long power walks and to try to run (looked at the beginners running guide online - seems easy enough) I never thought I'd be able to run a 5k run but if by reading all the posts on here - i may be a stone or more light by the time i do the race.
