ProPoints My challenge to lose 10st in 15 months.

I'd imagine you'd normally gain when you reintroduce food as it's higher in cals, especially when stuff like exante is only 600-800 cals a day, but I'm guessing it would plateau and start losing again eventually? I'd worry that once you eat again because you've not learnt how to curb the eating through lessening cals and smaller portions that I'd stuff my face and put it all back on again.

Lighter life is meant to have sessions with a counsellor that addresses why you overeat so if that worked it could be of use but I don't know £42 a week plus the food shopping when I'm saving for a wedding is very off putting but it's the wedding that makes me want to lose the weight quickly. I'd love to know why i'm not losing this time around the way I did the first time I joined ww in 2011 it dropped off me and I'm not doing anything differently, still weighing and pointing everything that passes my lips although granted pizza hut yesterday won't help lol xx
 
I'm sure that yo-yoing like I do is why the losses are slower, maybe your body has gotten used to you doing this to it? Gotta admit I was pretty tempted by anything food replacement but I know what I want in the future, healthy toned, happy and the only way I can see that is by eating lean and clean. Is there are cheaper alternative you could try in the run up to the wedding?, maybe try skipping the treat night for a few weeks and see if that gives you a bigger loss?. I'd definitely try varying what you're doing a bit before changing completely, but only you know what'd right for you :)

There's something called the Wendie plan when it comes to ww and it basically takes your daily allowance and your weekly allowance if you choose to include it and gives you some higher point days and some lower so you never go over your points but your body also never knows how much it is going to be eating. I think it works on the theory of your metabolism not getting used to the same amount of calories each day. I think I'll give that a go from Monday when my points for the week start over and see what happens there. Some american woman came up with it, it's not an offical ww plan but a lot of people say it works for them so it's worth trying. I just want to be able to lose 4-5 lb a week and eat what I like but I'm not alone there haha xx
 
Maybe you might have a better loss by upping your weeklies. Like you've done this week and see if it's better. My app I have has a boost feature too which takes so many points off you which is meant to help but not tried it yet xx
 
Maybe Cheryl I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'm starting to have nightmares about fitting into this friggin dress now and I can't just go and buy a bigger one something has to give xx
 
Is the Wendie Plan similar to 5:2? I've heard of people using 5:2 with WW and SW and having lots of success. X
 
Not quite as your points never drop below your daily allowance they just break your weeklies up and spread them unevenly so you never eat the same number of points two days in a row. I don't think I could do 5:2 I'm too greedy lol xx

If you google wendie plan it brings up a calculator to input your points and how many (if any) weeklies you want to use. I didn't write mine down as I'm not starting until Monday but I'm looking forward to seeing what difference it makes xx

Well it's Friday again how did that happen? Did a little menu for myself last night to try and stick to so I don't overindulge at the weekend. Stuck to yesterdays 100% and have just eaten a banana rather than have a mullerice because I'm saving that until tonight to have as desert.

Really behind with work as I had to go and hold Dai's hand when he went to the docs so playing catch up will stop me from fridge stalking. Have Josh home too poor thing he's got weird tummy pains but no sickness :/

What are we all up to this weekend? xx
 
Well it's Friday again how did that happen? Did a little menu for myself last night to try and stick to so I don't overindulge at the weekend. Stuck to yesterdays 100% and have just eaten a banana rather than have a mullerice because I'm saving that until tonight to have as desert.

If it's weird cramps try BellaDonna, I'm not normally one for homeopathy but I think it helps me quite a bit, that and laying down with a hot water bottle, poor Lad.

Lovely! I'm off for a girls day on Sunday, going to Ardingly for a quilt festival, not really my thing but my aunt wanted to go and I wanted a free day out! I'm a bit concerned that tomorrow wont be healthy as Boy doesn't want to go to his Mums :(
