My first ever XMAS Cake - finally complete

Thought I would post my first ever traditional English Cake that I have ever made.

I am happy with the results....completely amateurish - but I like it.

That's really cool! I never ice mine any more.

Last year I made 11 and one actually made it through to Boxing Day. (Mind you the builders did help a little). This year I made 4, I put my foot down and hid them very well. Lots of subterfuge to feed them with loads of brandy when 'HE' wasn't around and could sniff them out! We have 2/3rds of one left. And it wasn't anything to do with me!!!
