My First Healthy Eating Diary :)

breakfast - big bowl of coco shreddies with semi skimmed milk
snack - pack of wotsits and a pack of go ahead crispy slices
afternoon snack - a banana
tea - some roast lamb with a couple roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots and sweetcorn and 2 little yorkshires
snack -a skinny cow mint choc ice cream, and an ovaltine before bed :D

Hello I've just started healthy eating it's quite quiet over here so thought I would pop in and say hello, how are you getting on with the healthy eating no dieting as such? I'm finding it strange not having rules to follow
 
hiya hun its good thanks, sometimes it can get tricky because you can get kind of slack with your limits if youre not on a specific plan but you just have to give yourself a telling off and get back on track!
i always forget to write my diary on here im getting a bit rubbish at remembering!

It's ok I'm just getting confused as I'm not following a plan it feels weird but I'm liking it, I'm really trying to get out of diet mode and think like a thin person if I'm hungry eat if I want a treat I can have them and it's actually working I'm feeling less guilty and not going mad
 
sounds like its working :) im having steak tonight with roasted flat mushrooms, courgettes and brocolli (my oh is having chips and gravy!) xxxx
 
back to slimming world for me!
will be doing 8 weeks(already done 2 of them) and then going on holiday so will be back to just healthy eating.

so far today ive had...


shape 0% FF strawberry yogurt
beans on 2 x wholemeal bread, with 2 tsp marg (4syns)
sugar free orange jelly (1/2 syn) with fresh pineapple.
2 clementines
noodles with soy sauce, peas, sweetcorn, spices,peppers,broccolli and baby carrots.
some more sugar free jelly (1/2syn) with a peach and passionfruit shape yogurt (1/2syn)
a banana



and its not even tea time yet! i dont know if im being a pig or not.. im really hungry this week, (coming off totm :( )

u know what ive just been having a think about it and ive realised i knew what i was doing before re-joining slimming world..and i think im just gonna go back to what i knew. writing on here , recording what im eating will help i think. xxxx
 
plan for tomorrow...

honey nut shredded wheat with a little milk

2 eggs on toast

spagetti bolognese with passatta and extra lean mince


snack will be fruit, 0% fat shape yogurts and a biscuit


just ideas so far..looking forward to it tbh..

lunch- pack of nice n spicy crisps, a penguin bar and a clementine

tea- spagetti bolognese

snack - mini solero lolly and an ovaltine light before bed

got a very busy day today!

lunch - a 0% FF yogurt and a penguin (mmm!) :)

snack - 2 x satsuma

tea - half of a thin and crispy cheese pizza

others - a mini solero and an ovaltine light before bed :)

weigh myself tommorow..nervous to see if ive lost any weight as its half a week of slimming world and half a week of eating healthy! xxxx

god my muscles are aching today from a lot of swimming yesterday!

snack - a penguin and a satsuma

lunch - a pack of wotsits and some fresh pineapple

snack - 0% shape yogurt

tea -we're having take away tonight! i am meant to weigh myself tomoro but did it tonight instead and ive lost 2.5lbs :) so im now 8'12

back to norm today! i felt so full after that take away last night it was too much!

breakfast - pack of lidl reduced fat crisps and a penguin

snack - a mini solero ice cream

lunch - a big bowl of fresh pineapple

snack - 2 penguins..this will teach me to leave it until the last minute when im hungry!

we're off to the summer fayre so im gonna have some cake as a treat! its all very exciting lol
tea will be half a pizza and later an ovaltine light before bed..as if u didnt already know!

the cakes last night were delicious!! mmm :)

breakfast - a pack of lidl low fat crisps

snack - no snack today

lunch - some mixed salad with chicken breast and a little mayo (we went out for lunch :) )

snack - a kit kat

tea - some pastabake mad with passatta, tomato puree, herbs and fat reduced cheese, with some steamed vegetables

others - a mini solero and an ovaltine light before bed

i bought my swimming costume for holiday today, its such a good incentive - i fit it already but itd look so much nice after losing some more weight :)

i keep forgetting to write in here!!
im using my fitnes pal to help me now atm cos of holiday coming up and all that i wanna be more precise so i know i should be losing weight!

so today

breakfast- kit kat, a banana and a satsuma - 223cal


lunch - a pack of mcoys, a fox triple bar and a satsuma - 279cal


tea - youngs fish with sweetcorn with lighter than light mayo - 522cal


snacks - 1/2 a plum, an ovaltine and a mini solero - 280cal


daily goal = 1341

total cals today = 1304

ok i weighed myself yesterday and id sts so i had some treats yesterday and now im back on it, with a slight glitch tho - my fitness pal is not working! it says system maintenance! so im doing back to basics counting!

breakfast - a pack of mcoys and a penguin (yes i am aware this is not the best breakfast lol) 213cal

i dont know exactly how to calculate what i had for lunch today so ill just write it down today!

a salad with lettuce tomato and cucumber with a little mayo n sprinkle of cheese

half a peach and half an apple

a pack of walkers baked crisps and a mint kit kat

2 peices of chocolate

a healthy living vegetable lasagne with vegetables

a muller corner and an ovaltine light :)

eating more than usual today but been swimming so was so hungry!

snack -a bite of a peanut butter kit kat about (quickly decided i did not like it!) about - 100cal

lunch - a penguin - 106cal

snack - 2 x tesco value fromage frais - 110cal

tea - 1/2 a cheese pizza express pizza, with some salami on - 579cal

others - an eton mess muller corner and an ovaltine light before bed - 248cal

overall cals - 1453 cal

daily goal today - 1482 cal
