ProPoints "My Food Diary" by 'Bridesmaid-to-be'

This is my food diary. i have now been doing this diet for a week and a half so thought i'd better start one :)

my current goal is to loose as much weight as i can by the 10th of September for my friends wedding (which as my username suggests i am going to be a bridesmaid for) .... will have to get a new username after the wedding.... or find another friend who is getting married and wants me as a bridesmaid, lol :)


i started this diet on : 26 / 07 / 2011
weighing : 16 stone exactly
my weigh-in days are: Tuesdays


Please feel free to read my diary and let me know if you see anything i have pointed wrong. or give me ideas of other things i could have :)

i will back track my diary so it starts on day 1.

I know on some days it will look like i haven't eaten a lot (or used all my points) its only because i eat if and when i'm hungry .... so if i wasn't hungry i wouldn't have eaten ... i'm not starving myself i just don't see the point in eating something just because i had the points there to use !

Breakfast:
2x slices medium sliced white bread - 4 PP
15g Flora light - 2 pp

Lunch:
Chicken, Bacon and Cheese Panini from BHS - 12pp ?

Tea:
WW Sweet and Sour Chicken with long grain rice - 9pp
Broccoli - 0pp

Total: 27 pp
(wanted to leave some left over as backup incase i'd under pointed the panini at lunch time)

Breakfast:
2 Slices medium white bread - 4pp
15g Flora Light - 2pp

Lunch:
WW Lasagne (frozen) - 7pp
Salad (Lettuce, Cucumber, Tomato) - 0pp

Tea:
WW Vanilla Yoghurt - 1pp
2x peaches - 0pp

Total: 14 PP

...... ate at random times as had a busy day so "breakfast" was about 11:45am and then "lunch" was about 5:00pm ... so the fruit and yoghurt i had for "tea" was really just a snack around 9pm as i wanted something but wasn't really hungry for a 'real meal'

4pp (weekly)

wasn't really sure how many points exactly were in my lunch out as wasn't exactly sure of quantities so guesstimated whole meal at about 27pp .... however i only used 4pp from weekly as was saving them for my meal out so if it is more then that it was covered although advice on what it would be PP wise would be appreciated as will probably have again another day :)

* Sweet and sour chicken in batter (6 strips) (with a drizzle of the sauce over whole meal)
* 1/2 a foil tray of chicken chop suey, mainly the beanshoots but had about 3 or 4 pieces of chicken (as the beanshoots were shared between 2 and the chicken between 3)
* 1/4 of Duck Chow mein ..... although it was a large not standard size (so was probably about 1/3 of a standard size foil dish)
* 1/3 of special fried rice (standard size foil tray and without the prawns)
* 5 prawn crackers

thank you :) yep i'm finding it good so far, i'm only on week 2 but seems to be working for me so far as i lost 7lbs in my first week :) ... i've got my next WI on tuesday so only time will tell if the 1st week was a one off or if its going to work for me in the long run ... which will definitely be a LONG run ! :D ... fingers crossed as i'm really liking this diet (mainly cause i can go shopping and pick things up which are already pp'd so don't need to spend time working them all out) .... although i think a calculator is going to be my next purchase for the things that i'd like as treats that aren't already pp'd :)

I love the plan! Ive lost 2 stone so far in 15 weeks (with some bad weeks lol)

How much do u hope to lose by wedding?

wow that's great, well done! :)

i just want to loose as much as i can by the wedding. i've only got just under 5 weeks now so just trying to stick to the plan and lose weight rather then put it on :D

in the long run (so after the wedding) i'm just going to take it slowly but surely.... once i know roughly how much i am loosing a week i can set myself some (realistic) goals for occasions .. . e.g loose xxx by xmas.... keep it off over xmas, ect

my end result so far is to get back into a size 14 which was the smallest i have ever been (and being that thin didn't last for very long !!) .... smaller then that will be great but will look at that when i'm a bit closer ! ..... i will be REALLY happy when i am back into a size 16 as that is the size i was when i had my daughter in April 2007 ! ... before the weight started to creep on ! :(
