My intention for today

    Hi all,

    It will be helpful for me to stop by here and declare how I want my days to be. Please join in if you want.

    Sometimes I will anticipate a difficult day and taking time to work out how I will deal with it will be useful, otherwise it will be my approach to life in general. Of course, some days may be so rushed I don't get on the computer first thing but its usually something I can do.

    OK, here goes,

    today I want to enjoy my weight loss journey and appreciate the fact that I have started. I will make healthy food choices and if any family member has emotional difficulties I will remember my techniques for keeping my self separate from their emotions.

    I will enjoy a clean kitchen when I have finished it (next job :) ) and continue the difficult task of clearing out papers from our home educating days - filing and storing and throwing out and recycling and I will enjoy the prospect of more space and a start to a more ordered life.

    I will approach today with a light heart and confidence and achieve a lot.

    This subgroup has got the right name. Lets do it again tomorrow and hope more people join in.

    What sort of training do you do? I used to enjoy martial arts and free weights and the odd strength training machine a loooooooong time ago but I've not done anything like that. I'm building up to going for what I jokingly call running again - its more like a staggering shuffle so I don't like to do it with people around.

    I do lots of things, if I can get to the gym I do running or x-trainer or rowing then strength training. If I am at home I do wii fit or Just Dance, 30 Day Shred or some other exercise vid. Or I'll just go for a walk. I am just trying to be more active whatever I do.

    Running is kinda weird isnt it? As long as your moving you will be getting your heart rate up so keep going! I think Im gonna have to perfect my technique (and stop my calves wobbling) before I take it to the streets though :)

    what a lot you've lost. Well done you, I shall take you for inspiration today.

    So, my intention for today. No running, I woke early worrying and tired. There was indeed turmoil yesterday but hooray - no binging.

    I shall go about my tasks and focus on what I'm doing. - I will deal with what worries me without getting angry and emotional, if I do get angry I will experience the emotion and not supress it with food.

    I shall persue my weight loss journey and enjoy that aspect of my life and this evening I will find new energy and enjoy making music with others.
