Wednesday 16th March 2011

Green day
Breakfast
Blackberries, strawberries, banana

Lunch
Superspeed, superfree, superspicy tomato soup. 2 scan bran with 2 triangles laughing cow. (part of hea 1 and heb 1)

Dinner
Pasta and rest of sw chilli con quorn, sprinkled with 14g grated cheddar cheese (rest of hea 1). 3 slices tescos light choices garlic bread (6 syns).

Snacks
4 x teas with semi skimmed milk (hea 2), 3 x alpen light bars (rest of heb 1 and heb 2).

Green day

Was with a client day in Edinburgh and was worried about airport food but I did very well even if I say so myself!

Breakfast
2 alpen lights, banana, grapes

Lunch
Salad (lettuce & other leafy greens, tomatoes, beetroot, garden peas, sweetcorn) with baked potato and cheese (hea 1)

Dinner
Superspeed superspicy superfree tomato soup, 1/2 slice wholemeal bread (I had a full slice for me, but OH scoffed the other half!) (1/2 heb)

Snacks
Banana, orange, 2 choc chip cookies (6 syns) 4 teas with semi-skimmed milk (hea 2)

Friday 18th March 2011

Green day

Breakfast
Half Galia melon, strawberries, blackberries

Lunch
1 slice of wholemeal toast with tomato and 28g grated cheese melted (hea 1 & heb 1)
Bacon fries (6 syns)

Dinner
Half Indian takeaway (vegetable rogan) (3.5 syns) with boiled rice. Poppadum (1 syn) half peshwaari naan (12.5 syns)

Snacks
2 bananas, rhubarb muller light, orange, 5 teas with semi skimmed milk (hea 2)

Saturday 19th March 2011

Green day

Breakfast
2 weetabix & 200ml milk (hea 1 & heb 1)

Lunch
Boiled rice and vegetable rogan (leftover from yesterday) (3.5 syns)

Dinner
Sw skinny chips, quorn burger topped with cajun spice, onion and slice melted Leicester cheese (hea 2). No wholemeal baps so put it in a White one :( (6 syns). Tbsp ketchup (1 syn)

Snacks
2 alpen lights (heb 2),Banana, Mint club chocolate (5.5 syns). Cadburys light chocolate mousse (3 syns), 3 teas with semi skimmed milk (rest of hea 1)

Total syns for day: 19 syns

Over syn allowance for this week (about 7)... Having a major craving for chocolate though and I do believe it could be worse... Lol have to be super good tomorrow & Monday!!

An attempt at a success express day.... failing that back to green!

Breakfast
Orange, banana, punnet grapes, 1x alpen light bar (half heb 1)

Lunch
Half galia melon, 1 slice of wholemeal bread toasted (heb 2), topped with tomato and melted cheddar cheese (hea 2)

Dinner
Vegetable stir fry with noodles. (onion, red pepper, green pepper, baby corn, asparagus tips, cauliflower, broccoli, red chilli, mushrooms, carrots) sauce made from soy sauce, garlic, Ginger, crushed chillis and... Demerara sugar (3 syns worth)

Snacks
Muller light cherry, alpen light bar (rest of heb 1), tea (using milk from hea 2 allowance), apple

Total syns for day: 3 syns
 
Monday 21st March 2011

Breakfast
2 weetabix & 200ml milk (hea 1 & heb 1)

Lunch
Superspeed, superspicy, superfree tomato soup
2 scan bran topped with light laughing cow cheese and tomato (half of hea 2 & half of heb 2)

Dinner
Sw shepherds pie (with quorn and topped with mashed potatoes)

Snacks
Half punnet raspberries, half punnet strawberries, banana, muller light yoghurt, now for the bad stuff(!) 2 x light cadburys chocolate mousses (6 syns), 2 x mint club (12 syns), 2 alpen light bars (half of heb 2 & 3.5 syns) just had a craving for chocolate... Just gave in :(

Dinner
3 quorn sausages, potatoes, carrots, red pepper, onions, mushrooms roasted in fry light. Steamed carrots, peas, cauliflower and corn on the cob. 2 tsp of gravy made from bisto granules (worked out at 1 syn), 1 tbsp ketchup (1 syn)

Snacks
Punnet grapes
Banana
Cadburys creme egg (they brought them up at last nights sw class and it's all I've been able to think about all day!! 8.5 syns)
4 cups tea with milk from hea 1 allowance

Orange, apple, muller light, piece of cake (going to syn it at 10 syns) and curly wurly (6 syns) Plate of pickled onions, beetroot and 2 laughing cow light triangles. (part of hea 2). 3 cups tea with semi skimmed milk from hea 2 allowance.

Weigh in day - another pound off - half a pound left til I get my 2 stone award!!

Breakfast
Strawberries, grapes, raspberries, fat free fromage frais with a little sweetener sprinkled over it.

Lunch
2 slice white nimble bread (heb 1) and 2 tbsp marmalade (3 syns), bag of wotsits (6 syns)

Dinner
2 baked potatoes (brushed with 1/2 tbsp olive oil - 1/2 heb 2), beans, leftover stirfried veg from last night and 42g grated low fat cheddar cheese.(hea 1)

Snacks
Apple, banana, curly wurly (6 syns)

Total syns for day: 15 syns

Strawberries, raspberries, grapes, ff fromage frais with a little sweetener sprinkled over

Lunch
2 slices nimble bread (heb 1) toasted with marmalade (2 tbsp - 3 syns)

Dinner
3 quorn sausages, sw chips, Brussels (can't beat them!) broccoli and cauliflower. 2 slices nimble bread ( heb 2) with 2 tsp lurpak lighter spread over (3 syns), tbsp ketchup (1 syn)

Snacks
Toffee muller light, banana, apple, curly wurly (6 syns)... Oh and 3 chips from ikea (!!) I'll call that a generous 1 syn!!

Batchelors broccoli and cheese pasta thingy (half syn)

Snacks
Grapes, banana, muller light, curly wurly (6 syns), about 6 cups tea(!!) using milk from hea 2

Total syns for day: 9.5 syns

So that's my march diary... Im glad I did it but really found that my food is really not that adventurous!! And I probably eat too many syns!! The weight loss is slow but it's consistent and coming off so I will continue as I am. I was debating whether to do an April diary but I think I will. I've found that when I'm on an eating everything in sight binge(!) I think - oh I have to write all this down and someone might read it and that stops me. I also find that the next day I'm back on track and no guilt about the day before's binge! I did used to be a bit of a secretive eater so the diary thing is definitely helping!
