Over the last week or two, I've noticed a big difference in my food preferences.
Whereas before tea would be pizza/burger always with chips etc etc, I actually prefer to have veg with my tea now and cant stand to have beige stodgy meals anymore! Its amazing as I really was never a veg person before.

Also, my treat meal after weigh in was fast food/chippy/dominos to start with, now its proper cooked meals that I fancy- sometimes even with veg!

This probably sounds silly to some but its a massive MASSIVE turnaround for me, I'm loving it! :D

i think over time we get so used to the stoge we forget what real food tastes like.
It is easy to go for the quick and easy option and in time we just think thats the norm,
I am loving big bowls of soup/stew type meals at the moment i make a big pot and just have a portion when i want. if any left at the end of the day i freeze ready for the days i cant be bothered to cook.

Most of my syns go on little things like a bag of quavers or an added something with a meal ie slice of breead.
I am still very early on this plan but find I am getting my head around it and still got lots I want to try.
Tonight I am trying syn free curry. so may syn a small nan to go with it......must go shopping to get what i need

I know what you mean i used to have tea/coffee with 3 sugars in it.....i cringe now! but now i have 2 sweeteners, i had a tea made with sugar yesterday and it tasted awful and i had to throw it away. Im the same with veg too now, i love having veg with meals and it feels wrong if i dont have any.

It's amazing how our bodies change - 3yrs ago I lived on take-aways. I had a kebab earlier this year (it was 1am, I was on the way back from a wedding reception where there wasn't much that i could eat on plan, and was hungry and figured i had the syns for a chicken shish kebab - but ended up ordering the mixed special as I used to). Once i got home and started tucking in - within two mouthfuls I was asking myself "and I used to live on this?".
