    Hi everyone :)

I have been on Xenical for 8 days now :) I have lost 7 lbs since the 1st November, which I am happy with. I just hope I keep on losing more.

I weigh myself every Thursday so I will be posting in every Thursday with how much I have lost or gained, hopefully not gained. I'm not quite sure what else to post along with my weigh in. I don't want to bore people lol. Any suggestions on what else I could post? If you have any questions then I'd be happy to help :)

    Thank you

Hi Rosie! Glad you started your diary. I'm a bit rubbish at posting on mine, and tend to only do it if I've hit a milestone or something, lol. But loads of other people are good at updating theirs regularly and put on a whole variety of stuff - just use it however you'd like, however you think will help you. You may find it motivates you to come on here and talk about what you've eaten, exercise you've done, whether you've struggled with anything, had any successes (or failures!). All sorts of stuff, it's your choice! :) xx

Had a really bad day today :( I didn't get paid so I had to walk to town to the jobcentre, because I had no money, and it took me 40 minutes to walk there and 30 minutes to walk back home. I had to walk up 3 massive hills! I don't know why, but whenever I walk a lot, I get REALLY itchy all over, like seriously SOOOO itchy and if I itch anywhere, I turn red there and it itches more :( That's happened for ages, that's why I hate walking a lot. It only happens if I am walking loads though like today. I guess it was good exercise, even though I was in so much pain! The main pain was my left ankle that is sprained :( But at least it is over now :)

I will be posting in tomorrow with my weight loss (or gain, hopefully not gain!) and current measurements :)

The iching sounds like eczema that gets appears or is worse with exercise. I used to get it on the fronts of my legs. Try sudocream on it to see if it helps.

I'm sure the walk did your weight loss a good turn, not sure it helped with your sprained ankle - did you do that today? Or was it an existing injury?

I hope you sorted your lack of money problem out!

Oops forgot to write that my money got all sorted out in the end :) Got my money at 4pm yesterday lol...And my ankle got sprained about 1 and a half weeks ago from when I started doing skipping as my cardio exercise.

And ohh bum! I was at the doctor's yesterday afternoon but I didn't think to mention it...Will mention it next time, thank you :)

Bit annoyed today. When I went to the doctor's yesterday I told him about some dry skin that I have behind my ear...turns out it's an infection! Also most days that I wake up I instantly have a runny nose and sneeze pretty much all day. I think it is an allergy because of my cat, and my doctor thinks so too. He also thinks the infection behind my ear has something to do with my runny nose and sneezing. So he gave me cream to put on behind my ear twice a day...and he gave me a nasal spray to spray 2 sprays in each nostril twice a day....and lastly, he also gave me some tablets to take for my infection. I have to take the tablets 4 times a day, 1 hour before food or on an empty stomach. On top of that I am taking Xenical 3 times a day and follic acid tablet once a day (because I am trying to conceive.) A lot of things to do in 1 day. I hope I remember it all! I will be back in a couple of hours to weigh in this week :)

Just thought I would share that lol.

Hi everyone. Sorry I took so long to get back to you today. I weighed myself earlier and I am pleased to say I have lost...3.3 lbs this week :) I'm quite happy with that. Today was the 1st time I took my measurements and wrote them down on a spreadsheet. But I'm not sure if I measured my waist and hips in the correct place lol.

Over the past week, I have still been resting my left ankle. Except for when I had to walk to the job centre and back. So this week I have done an hour and 10 minutes of walking, some up hill too, and I was walking at a brisk pace.

My diet has been all healthy, eating at least 4 of my 5 a day so far. I have been drinking more water. I try to drink 1 glass of water before I am about to eat...and then have another glass during my meal so that I get full up more. When I get hungry after dinner, for a snack I have a banana or a low fat yogurt. I have lost nearly 5% of my body fat and when I do get to 5%, my doctor will continue to give me Xenical :) So I hope I keep on losing pounds :) (and inches soon) :D

The last 2 days have been so stressful. It's a good thing that I don't eat when I am stressed. I think the scales might be affected though by me eating my first meal today at 3.30pm. But I'm making sure I eat 3 meals still today...just at very late times. Nothing seems to be going right lately :(

Oh dear, I'm so to hear things are stressful. :( But I wouldn't worry about eating later, I don't eat until noon, and have my dinner between 9pm and 10pm every night, and it's fine for me. xx

Thank you Tracy. Means a lot to me that you care. Things are always ok in the end though :) And that's a relief to hear :) Only just had my second meal at 6pm lol. Feels weird eating what would of been lunch at 6pm lol. Thanks again xx

I'm a bit worried about Christmas. My partner is going to buy lots of chocolate, crisps, sweets etc. I won't be able to stop myself from eating loads lol. I guess it is only 1 day so it will be my only treat for a few months lol. Also I will exercise lots after Christmas too :)

I hope things get better soon, stress isn't good. :) At Christmas, I'm allowing myself three days "off", as this lifestyle needs to be sustainable and it certainly wouldn't be if you made yourself miserable on special occasions. Just make sure you stop taking Xenical about three days beforehand, or you will not like the consequences, lol. Take care. xx

Thanks Tracy. I'm sure they will soon :) I was going to allow myself three days off too. If I was to have the 25th, 26th and 27th of December off, would I need to stop taking Xenical on the 24th? Also would a doctor suggest not taking Xenical around Christmas as well do you think? I'm worried I will put on a lot! Thanks again :) xx
