Hi everyone - hope all is good. My name is natalie, I'm 27 and live in Sheffield (although originally from Scotland).
I've been doing sw since the beginning of the year. I started at 15st 9lbs and am now 12st 8lbs. I am so desperate to get to target (9st 7lbs) by Christmas.
For the 1st couple of months I saw great weight loss and was sooo motivated. Trouble is now I seem to go through fits and starts of sw. I don't know why I continually cheat. The reasons for weight loss far outweigh (mind the pun) the reasons for not doing it (laziness), but I can't seem to stay motivated for any length of time!

I've set myself a target of getting to 11st 7lbs by the end of august as im seeing family then and I'd love to have lost 4st by then and be 2/3 of the way through my weight loss.

Anyone out there want a buddy to motivate and support when the sw times get tough! Sorry to be so down - it just gets a bit deflating when I continue to be naughty!! Need to get strong and get to it!!!

Brunch

Melon - ss

Nectarine - s

Dinner

Sw chicken tikka and rice

Chicken breast - s
Tikka powder
Ff yog
Coriander seeds
Rice
Orange pepper - s

1/2 melon - ss

Snacks

Velvet crunch - 4 syns

Healthy extras:
a 250ml ss milk
B - fibre plus bar

Hey All!

So I am back on plan today - in fact, in all honesty I am always on plan, but just seem to have too many syns. All meals are sw friendly, but I am naughty for having too many syns. I'm never massively over (perhaps 3 or so a day) for a couple of days and then I have a day of not having any syns to somehow compensate. Saying that I have been extremely bad from weds - sat this week.

I went to weigh in on weds and lost 1lb. It's good that it's a loss but I wanted (greedily) two. I need to lose 2lbs a week so I can be 11st 7lbs by the end of August.

So weds I had fish and chips from the chippy. No other syns all day, just that.

Thursday, I had 2 1 finger timeouts and 2 packets of velvet crunch (16 syns). Just over the syns.

Friday - egg mayo seeded roll from the bakery (yikes! - cant even est the synnage!)

Sat - as thursday - 16 syns (repeat performance!!)

Today - Sunday 17th July

Breakfast

apple
banana
ff activia

Snack

cherries
nectarine

Dinner

sw tikka (chicken, ff yog, tikka powder, lemon juice, coriander seeds)
sw chips
red onion and cucumber raita
salad

No syns today - I am absolutely stuffed after dinner - feel sooo much better being on plan. Have enjoyed today's food more than all the other days.

Said to consultant that I wanted to lose 3lbs this week - happy now with a STS.

Superspeed and superfree all the way until weigh in. May make some speedy soup.

Leese - sorry for tardy response. Yes, would love to be sw buddies!! As you can see, I need all the help I can get! How are you finding things?

Hey Nat!!

Firstly, i think you have done fab so far with your weightloss, well done!!

I know from previously doing SW it becomes hard, and the little devil on the shoulder pretty much knocks off the angel lol but hang in there, you are clearly motivated and i am sure you will reach your target!!

Trouble is that I have become too complacent and need to get my head back in the game!!

Erm, not too bad.

Its my first week back on plan. I am terrified i will not loose this week.

To be honest, i am terrified of staying or increasing the weight i am, as it really is the heaviest i have ever been.

This time last year i was 2 stone lighter and i hated that, 6 yrs ago i was 4 stone lighter and i thought i was fat then!!! If only i could go back to that weight and start SW at 13 stone!!!

But yeah, i have had a crap year, and i want to have a really good xmas, i want to make a huge christmas scrap book and i want to be in it, i dont want to be the size i am now, because i really dont like it.
And next year i want to go to uni, and be a new me, one who is active and healthy :D

You are only human, you will have days where you want to eat chocolate and stuff lol, but if you truely believe that loosing weight will make a huge difference in your life, as i feel it, then you will do it, and you will feel great, look great and then you can have a bit more flexibility with the food :D

But make use of your syns, and try not to deprive yourself toooo much.

You can do it!!

Hey Natalie, I'm doing good thanks my second weigh in tomorrow lost 6 pound last week I think the only thing i'm struggling with is dinner times so i've mainly been eating ham salad on nimble bread with a packet of skips obviously sinning it! I have to admin tho every dinner time im munchin my way through strawberrys and muller light i think working in sheffield and having KFC, pizza hut etc near by is doing my head in but i've got into a habit of not actually taking my purse to work! lol I deff havent lost anything this week, had pub meal on Thursday and then take out last night after a very bad day so back on plan tomorrow!
Hows things? Its my friends Wedding next year so i'm determined to loose at least 6-7 stone! god help me :) x

Gosh - I've been AWOL for over a week - have been working away/on 'holiday' (well a long hen weekend away).

I set myself a target of maintaining which thankfully I have as I ate/drank everything that I shouldnt have (cocktails, cake, dominos pizza - you know the stuff!!).

So back on it from this afternoon (after restaurant pizza for lunch!)

Dinner has been

sw chilli and rice

EL minced beef
onions - sf
mushrooms - sf
chillies - sf
garlic - sf?
red peppers - sf
chopped tomatoes - sf
passata - sf
chilli powder
rice

all topped off with 1/4 of a melon - sf and an apple -sf!

So good to be back on plan - made a huge vegetable curry for this weeks lunches/dinners. Just need to stay on plan until wednesday (official WI day) to see whether I maintain.

Hey ginlin - yes definately back on the sw wagon today - feels great! How are you doing with it. BTW your little dog looks so sweet in your picture. Is it a springer spaniel? My brother and Sister in law have 2 springers and they are MAD!

So today's munchies have been:

So it feels great to be back in control - I think I needed the splurge to refocus myself as I had gotten a little complacent. Just need to remember to drink water and plenty of it.

It was mentioned last week in class that some mullerlights now have syns (mandarin now has 1 syn if I remember correctly). Is there a syns list anywhere?

hey natalie ur doing really well and a great inspiration as im similar weight as to when you first started so would love to be able to get down to 12 stone :) if you go on syn values theres a sticky on the mullerlights good luck with getting to target not that you will need it xx

Why Cant I get my head in the Game???

At the beginning of the year I wanted to lose 86lbs (6st 2lbs), I've now lost 3st 2lbs with 3st still to go!

Problem is I've given up TOTALLY fish 'n' chips, pizza, wine all sorts.

I'm going to a wedding reception this evening - more drinking and buffet food! Can't stand it! I just cant say no.

Wanted to lose all of the above this year, which means 3st in the next 4 months and 3 weeks - UNLIKELY!

Food for today has been

Breakfast:

2 x wm toast - heb1
flora extra light - 1 syn
half a melon - ss
strawberries - ss

Lunch:

chicken and mushroom pasta 'n' sauce - f
apple - s
orange - s

I will limit myself to 4 gin and slims - 14 syns and I'll steer clear of the wine/champagne. We'll see how I fair at the buffet!

I'm just so sick of not being on it. It feels crap.

Tomorrow has to be the start of me being good. I've now maintained at 12st 7lbs for the past 4 weeks. Think if I had a gain it would perhaps shock me into being good.

Is it just me??

This is me all over, first few mths im soooo motivated but then i just get complacent about food and think it will b ok to stuff my face , then get down about a gain !!

Im joining SW for the 5th time on monday and im dreading walking back through those doors !!

Anyway im supposed to be helping you !!! Get some new recipe ideas i found that used to help. Remember that feeling when youve lost as well , also be proud of what you have achieved so far !!:hug99:

Thanks coolkerry - I really enjoy sw and when i started I was ultra motivated and what's more, the weight came off really quickly. I know I can do it - I just need to stay motivated. I'd much rather weigh 9st 7lbs that eat/drink crap.

My problem is planning - I need to know what I'm eating for the day I wont deviate from it if I have a plan.

TARGET - WANT TO LOSE 4LBS BY 17TH AUG! HALF A STONE BY THE END OF THE MONTH!

Going to a wedding reception this evening. will have drinkies, but steer clear of the buffet!

Thanks so much for the recipe idea - I'll bust my books out and get cooking tomorrow!!

one in mexborough, think if you just keep trying different meals it might help. Motivation is definitely the key !! id love to be able to bottle that feeling and then release it 2 mths later haha :rolleyes:

I know my consultant will welcome me back but i really have to commit to it this time or i will feel like a joke ( a really bad one at that )

Feeling slim, being able to fit into clothes and feeling proud of your self is much better than the other option !!

Hope we can keep in touch and spur each other on :happy096: you can do it !!!!!!!!

I'm back in business (for now anyway)

Right this is the start of a new week and a new awakening for me. Yesterday was a total write off - had all sorts.

Made myself ill though, plus all nights out/weddings are over (until the end of the month) so I am back on the wagon big stylee!

swizzlers fizzers - ok investigated this and parma violets are 1 syn per 6 sweets - guestimate that I ate perhaps 12 sweets - therefore 2 syns - not bad at all!

someone's b'day at work and I ate them!! x

Lost 1lb this evening - dont know how I managed that - now 12st 6lbs - said I'd go for 3lbs this week. Means I have to be super good - will made some speed soup tomorrow and eat that all weekend.

Really up for losing it though - just need to stay motivated!!
