hey ladies...
sunflower, sounds like i may need a bit of what you are having! care to share ur meds??? joking! i know its not a funny issue to be dealing with this pain...i can only begin to feel the edge of what you're feeling, as sometimes i feel like my c-section scar is going to drop out of my birth canal -- i know TMi!
Nope, now I've found something that really takes the edge off the pain I'm not sharing at all!!!! No, it's not funny as you say, it's worse than any fracture I've ever had and it's not getting better for a while yet either - but at least it's for a wonderful reason.. Sorry that your scar is causing you problems, hope it doesn't get too much worse..
i have felt the nesting urge for the past two weeks...and i agree...take it day by day...and dont over-exert yourself -- or you will be in more pain -- on the other hand, good thing your pain meds are kicking in, cuz it will allow you to do more than you had, right?
I think I'll have to take it day by day, I've really done too much today and need to step it back - but it's hard when I want to turn the house upside down!! I will try not to do too much more actually - just being able to do what I was doing relatively pain free would be lovely..
btw, am happy that you will decide to bring baby in 8 weeks -- it will give you more recuperating time...will you still be on the pain meds while breastfeeding? (or do they expect for the pain to be instantly relieved upon delivery?)
Thank you.. Yeah, it will.. Bean is definitely big enough to cope on the outside at that gestation.. Yes, I will be still on the meds, which is a good thing as it will pass through to bean and help wean him off the medication.. The hope is that I'll be able to at least walk out of the hospital on crutches but they're thinking it will be at least 3 months before I can walk the dog or something..
finally, how early were you diagnosed with your disorder -- and how did you first become aware that you had a physiological problem?
Do you know I first read this as a psychological problem, I was starting to get all offended!!!!!
I started getting problems at 9 weeks, recognised it because I'm a midwife and was referred in to the physio shortly afterwards.. By 12 weeks I was in physio but, sadly, I was off work at 14 weeks after a fall..
once again, wishing all the best this week ladies!
