New to simply filling- any help appreciated

I think the free foods thing is that when there fresh you eat less of them. So if you just don't go crazy and only have a reasonable amount then I'd count them as free. I never point the handful of dried fruit I sometimes put in my porridge on SF! So I guess that's the same thing!
 
Yeh just finished a period so it's not that thankfully lol!

Yup soya beans are free and really yummy in stir fry :) love them.

Slimming world are a bit obsessed with food abuse - like if you bake chickpeas to make nuts, or use couscous to make a cake or make crisps from potato then although using free foods they insist you syn it as you could eat way more of them in that way. I like that ww don't really have such rules probably as they really don't push simply filling at all!!

So yeh I had some it's not like I went crazy and ate massive amounts just a handful and they were yummy! X

If they r free anyway I don't see it matters what u do with it, it's still free food!

Still got 6 weeklies left for tomorrow then they reset for the week might look into how many points for a double decker and get one! Also craving a boost! But not enough to go out in the rain for it :p x

It's interesting about the soya nuts! I didn't know that about SW either, that they made you count something if you changed it. I've been thinking of making poached meringues or even proper meringues with sweetener instead of sugar. I know they wouldn't taste the same but would still be delicious and free by my thinking. I guess it's back to the argument about feeling satisfied, if we're satisfied then we stop eating them. Ultimately I think it's okay now and again...I'm making my meringues this weekend..it's decided! ;)
 
Yeh as long as you aren't going crazy I don't see anything wrong with smacking on theoretically free things!

So glad the DOMS is disappearing finally today - I've only experienced it so badly once before and that was after a mighty intense crossfit session! Today is more like regular sore muscles after exercise whereas the past 2 days were properly really painful!! Maybe build up my fitness a bit more before I try classes again I don't know?

Oh and in sucky news I am back to work on Wednesday a day earlier than it was supposed to be. Also seems their idea of a phased return is a bit different to what I was hoping! Basically 16 hours one week, bit more the following week then straight back into fulltime!! After 7 months off and a still dodgy ankle this is not going to be much fun :-/ x

Ergh that's not so good about work! Maybe just see how you go and tell them If it gets too much,I'm sure the aches will die down the more you do the classes!how you feeling about tomorrows wi?

After the 2 weeks they pretty much said of I can't do the fulltime hours then I would need to cut down my contracted hours which I really can't afford to do as need it to cover bills :-/ so only option is to get on with it sadly!!

Yeh food wise it's been pretty boring this week but other than burrito tweak I think I have stuck to plan and not had a day off like I sometimes do! So a loss would be nice but just need to see how it goes. Not done as much exercise as I would like this week as kettlebells broke me lol!! X

Hmm so you got to put up with it at work,well I hope all goes well for you,it is hard when got to pay those bills!All good food wise then.Just think how much kettle bells worked you so that's good :0)
 
So weigh in day and a STS. Would have liked a loss as I stuck at it this week and didn't have a cheeky meal/day off like I often do :p

However I didn't do as much exercise this week as the kettlebells gave me horrific DOMS could barely move for 2 days lol!! X
 
Sorry you got a STS Ickle, kind of sucks..but it's better than a gain. It is hard to stay motivated when you've worked hard at it but like we always say you will have gained muscle. Even if you didn't do much exercise being sore after the kettlebells meant you had used muscles that hadn't been used as much in a while :)
 
Same here with Sts and someone else has as well,must be the day for it,hope your not too disheartened and am sure you will get a loss next week :0)
 
do you measure?! quite often on a STS week you lose inches?! and sounds like you have gained muscle anyway with the kettlebells! xxx
