Hey everyone...Ive just been reading some of the threads on here...it is so inspiring to hear everyone's stories..
My name is Louise (28years old), I started taking Xenical on the 2nd June 2010, with a starting weight of 142kgs (22 stone 3lbs) :(...I went to my doctors asking for that little bit of help thats when she mentioned Xenical...she said she would give me a month's prescription to see how I got on aswell as following a low fat/ low calorie diet...she made it clear if I did not lose any weight then she would not prescribe me any more...so then i started! the first few days were hard i craved all the goodies i used to eat! but i had to stay determined to shift the weight!
Previously I had done weight watchers..so I got my old books out & started again, pointing all my foods up...I've even started regular exercise going on bike rides with my son.

Having to wait the month to be weighted i kept wanting to go & weigh myself just 2 check i was doing ok...But now im glad i didnt the surprise was so worth it...

I went back to the doctors yesterday (30-6-2010) and to my surprise (& the doctors!) I had lost 2 Stone 2lbs! I was absolutely shocked...that has now given me the kick i needed...I CAN DO IT! :)

Ive heard alot of stories from people who have taken xenical, saying about the side affects...Luckily I have not had this much at all i put it all down to the low fat diet i am following...so for me so far so good im glad i have started taking the tablets lets just hope that next months weigh in is a good one! Good luck to all of u out there...we can all do it! :)

    Hi Louise,
Just popping in to say welcome :) and well done on your fantastic weight loss so far! As KB says, it will slow down, but that result must've been a massive boost to kick-start your weight loss journey!
If you want your own weight-loss ticker, just click on anybody else's and it will take you to the ticker website so you can create your own.
You'll then need to copy the code they give you, and paste it into your own signature space on here, which can be found in the 'USER CP' section in the blue bar at the top left hand side of this screen.

Good luck with your journey, and keep posting!
    A x
