Newbie looking for a bikini body - food diary

Hi Everyone :)

I just joined SW last night so have joined this board for some motivation and to learn some hints/tips/recipes etc. I'd like to lose around 1.5 stones to go from 11st 8 to 10st. I have a holiday in 12 weeks so hopefully this will be enough time to see this kind of weightloss. My weight has fluctuated between 8st12 and 13st over the last 10 years and I was most happy at my thinnest though was probably a bit too thin so am settling on 10st as my target. The Slimming World consultant recommended that I start on Extra Easy for first few weeks but i'm a bit concerned that you can eat as much pasta,rice, meat etc as you like. My diet wasnt bad before though probably drank too much and went overboard on the carbs, so i'm still worried that i will put weight on on this diet!! I have put todays food diary below and any comments or advice would be great:

Slimming World Day 1

Omelette made with 2 eggs, 15g cheese (HEXA), tomatoes and spray oil
Orange


Sandwich made with 2 slices weight watchers malted danish bread, tuna, 1 tbsp salad cream light (2 sins),
Melon
Fresh pineapple

Steak with fat trimmed
Roasted Veg in frylight - turnip, carrots, onions, 2 small potatoes and tomatoes
Peppercorn sauce made with water - 1.5 sins

Small handful crisp-like things - calculated at 3 sins
And will have 15g M & Ms later - 3.5 sins


i also have a couple of cups of tea a day with a splash of skimmed milk but since I had only 15g cheese im just counting it as part of HEXA


 
MENU - DAY 2 Saturday 23rd June

DAY 2

B: 2 egg omelette, 15g cheese (1/2 HEXa) and tomato
Banana
1 slice ww bread (1/2 HEXb)

L: Left over veg from yesterday - Turnip, Carrots, Potatoes
Peach

D: Homemade (from scratch) South Indian garlic & chilli chicken curry with lots of veg (1/2 HEXb - 1 tsp Olive Oil)
Rice

S: 15g M & Ms - 3.5 syns
10g crisps - 3 syns
sugar used in curry sauce - 3 syns
skimmed milk in tea - 1/2 HEXa)
 
Day 3 - Sunday 24th June

Todays Menu will be:

B - 2 egg omelette with tomato, onion and 15g cheese (1/2 HEXa)
peach

L - 2 slices w/w bread (HEXB)
Ham
Salad
Melon
Scraping of Salad Cream Light - 1 Syn

D - Chicken in Jerk Seasoning
Rice with tomato and coriander
Peppers & Onions

S - 1 medium glass of white wine - 6.5 Syns
15g M & Ms - 3 syns
Peach
Skimmed Milk in tea - 1/2 HEXa

Any feedback is much appreciated

Monday 25th June - the plan is:

B - 1 boiled egg, salad cream (1 syn), melon, peach, banana

L - 2 slices ww bread (hexb), scraping of salad cream light (1 syn), ham, salad
Muller light
Grapes and blueberries

D - grilled chicken breast
Carrots, turnip and potatoes

Snack - 15g M&Ms (3.5 syns)
- Amaretto (4.5 syns)

Milk in tea - 1/2 Hexa

Was stressed at work yesterday and ended up having a wee Amaretto when I got home but still stayed within my 10 syns so all is good!
Today i've had:

B - 2 boiled eggs, salad cream (2 syns), melon and peach

L - WW bread (HEXb), ham, scraping of salad cream (1 syn), lettuce, tomato
Blueberries and Grapes
Mullerlight

Snack before dinner - ham, more blueberries and grapes

D - Homemade beefburger with extra lean mince
Big salad
Potato wedges made with Frylight

Milk in tea (HexA)
15g M&Ms (3.5 syns)
 
Slimming World Day 6

Thank you Systema, have my boyfriend to thank for my evening meals as he is a chef!!

Todays menu:

B - 2 egg omelette with tomato, onion and cheese (1/2 Hexa)
Peach

L - 2 slices WW bread (Hexb), salad cream light (1 syn), ham, salad
Blueberries and grapes
Mullerlight

D - chicken, onion & peppers on skewers
Rice with tomato and coriander
Cabbage, carrot, onion and tomato salsa

I found out I got a promotion at work today and had 2 celebratory glasses of wine (13 syns), not good since its weigh in tomorrow !!

Milk in tea - 1/2 Hexa
 
Congratulations on the promotion - you havn't gone over 10 syns each day so you are enough in hand for the wine.
My weigh in at class tomorrow but as I started SW before class my WI on here is Friday.

Tomato ketchup - 1 Syn

L - muller light yoghurt
Rice with tomatoes, onion, peppers
Blueberries, grapes

Dinner after weigh in will be homemade South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken Curry (oil 1/2 hexb, sugar used to make sauce 3 syns) with more rice and lots of veg

Milk in tea 1/2 hexa
M & Ms 3.5 syns
 
Thanks, you're doing fab!!i always get stuck at the 11 stone mark when i'm dieting, so think I will have to fit some exercise in this week!

Woohoo lost 6lbs in my first week :)

That is absolutely brilliant -well done - more than I have lost in a month :cry:

Think I will have to go back on the wine :D

I was at a wedding reception last night and had a couple of wines and some wedding cake so over my syns! Though it was the least I've ever drunk at a wedding!!

As well as the wine and cake I had:

B: 2 eggs fried in fry light and 1 slice ww bread (2.5 syns) and ketchup (1syn)
peach

L: cheese (1/2 hexa) salad sandwich on ww bread (hexb)
Muller light
Melon

D: chilli with extra lean mince and lots of veg
Rice



Today (Saturday) so far I've had:

B: grapes, cherries, banana and melon

L: 2 slices ww bread (hexb) and 2 eggs in fry light

Just heading out to meet my friends for shopping and afternoon cocktails soon (diet irn bru for me!!) and not sure if we're staying out for dinner too. If not, dinner will be chicken and something.......

Well I was very well behaved yesterday, ended up going to Pizza Express with my friends, and while they all had yummy looking pizzas, I had a chicken and pancetta salad which was lovely, had the dressing on the side and only half of the bread that came with it, so hopefully not too much over on the syns. The only diet drink they sold was diet coke and i dont like coke so had to indulge in a wine instead!!

Today Sunday 1st July:

B: Branflakes (HexB) and SS Milk (3/4 HexA)
Mullerlight

L: Big bowl of homemade lentil and veg soup
Melon

D: Chicken and Paprika Stew with lots of peppers, tomatoes and onions, and rice

Snacks: 15g M&Ms (3.5 syns)
2 little haribo jelly babies (2 syns at most)
Skimmed milk in tea (1/4 HexA)
 
Monday 2nd July

B: 2 eggs fried in fry light, ketchup (1 syn)
Grapes

L: 2 slices ww bread (hexb), ham, salad cream (1syn) and salad
Melon
Muller light

D: steak, grilled tomatoes, fried onions in fry light, salad

Milk in tea (hexa)
Amaretto 4.5 syns
