Newbie to CD

I am starting the CD next week, but I havn't tried this diet before so i need some advice pls ....

I'm 5' and weigh 13st 2, i have PCS (polysistic ovary syndrome) and have been told i will end up with type 2 diabetes if i dont lose the weight.

I want to lose 4.5-5st before Xmas, and was wondering if this will be possible??

Also, ive heard you need to use cream after you bathe to reduce loose skin.... can someone please explain further??

Thanks xx

well done and good luck with CD!

Average loss is a stone a month so by reckoning you could be 4/5 stone down by christmas! Just keep focused and believe that you can do it!

I use a product called the firminator by soap & glory (can get from boots) is really minty and tingly and does seem to be working. I also body brush before i get in bath or shower which helps too. Light toning exercise is also a good place to start and can make all the difference!

Hope this helps :D

Just wanted to say welcome, there's one or two newbies around at the moment including me. I've seen my CDC and will be starting on Sunday. Anyway just to wish you luck on your journey to slimsville.
Thanks Bev, hopefully we can track our weight loss together!!

Do you mind me asking how much you have to lose??

Also, how do you get the weight loss ticker on??

Thanks xx

I got my ticker from here. Not sure whether you need to do 20 or 50 posts so that you have enough space underneath for it to fit.

I'm hoping to lose around 3 stone initially and then take it from there. It's made me feel much better to know that there are other new people around to share experiences with.

How much have you got to lose and when are you starting?

I started today aswell.. i think its going to help having other people going through the same thing, so we can compare notes! lol.
