:thankyou: so much!!!
Hows everyone?
Ive already put this in our 26 week challenge thread but wanted in my own diary too, to look back on.....
So, completely inspired by this and as an extra push to achieve my 26 week challenge, I made a 17 week challenge with the girls in the office (to incorporate into my 26 week one)
The reasoning for the 17 weeks is because, Laura (one of the girls) is jetting off to Florida the first week of June and had been saying to me she wants to be bikini ready (she is tiny! - a size 8-10, would be so health conscious but reeeaally wants to tone up here tummy for her own confidence)
Anyway, this is what I planned with the girls incase you may or may not want to try it....
I put up an extra calender and gave each girl a set of coloured stickers (there is only 3 of us too!!) obviously each colour represents a girl (im blue for instance)
So, (im probably not explaining this very well at all!!) we have decided that we all have to exercise four days a week, for a minimum of 30 mins.
The exercise can be anything... a walk, (laura does yoga on Mondays, so that'll be one of hers for e.g), 30 mins on an exercise machine at home (which we all have) or I have a Davina box set (never opened

) there is 3 dvds in it so Im going to distribute between the 3 of us and we're going to alternate the dvds once a forthnight (to save boredom setting in)
As an extra incentive, Im collecting €2 off each of us every Friday, putting in a little tin I have in my desk.
Every day that we do exercise we put our coloured sticker on the calender for that day.
At the end of the 17 weeks whoever has the most stickers on the calender gets all the Money in the kitty to treat themselves with.
If two have the same amount of stickers, we'll split it and if 3 do well we'll split it 3 ways and look on it as a good way of saving.
Ive said to the girls to set mini goals on a 4 week basis for themselves, privately - be it to loose pounds, inches, tone or to increase their fitness levels - its theyre business but may help motivation wise.
Myself and Laura are also thinking of starting a class - pilates or boxercise - we're looking into it at the min..
So what do you think?
Im a great one for starting to exercise, do great for a week but then the novalty wears off for another few months. I think this might give me a boot up the bum. Plus Im soooo competative!!!
So, have been good so far this week, have managed to save 8.5 points which Im going to use to have my beloved Dominos pizza and 2 garlic and herb dips tomorrow night - I only needed about 6 or 7 to make it up with what Im planning on eating during the day tomorrow so the 8.5 will definately cover it - woo hoo!!
Plan is to get a good dvd, takeaway, big fire and curl up on the couch - cant wait!! (how sad am I) but Its a lovely way to wind down the busy week.
Im going shopping with my Mother Saturday to Debenhams in Newbridge to try get a flower girl dress for Shannon, I know its very early but my mam seen them last week and said they are gorgeous - and better again are on sale with it being January!!!! (at about half of what I expected and had budgeted to pay) so now is the time to pick one up!! - I plan to buy it at around age 3 (shannon will be 3 two months after the wedding) so I think it'll be fine and anyway, alterations will sort any misfitting out!! (my aunt is a genius on a sewing machine!) Im going to bring a pic of my own dress to match the colour and am then just going to get a sash made, the same colour as the bridesmaids dresses to tie around her little waist.
Im sure its ok to get it now, isnt it? - just trying to save money wherever possible.
I had such a lovely night with Shannon tonight, we ran around the house like a pair of lunatics - her daddy put on a cd and the 3 of us danced like crazy for an hour!! (realised after that the curtains were open, you wouldnt see Shannon as shes too small from outside so the neighbours could be sending the men in white coats to pick up myself and himself later!

) we played hide and go seek where myself and Shannon hid in the bottom of the wardrobe - OH couldnt find us for ages and now my bum is killing me!! after that we just messed and messed and laughed - my throat is killing me from screaming and laughing!!
Shannons going to have "quality time" (lol) with her daddy on Saturday morning while we're shopping. I think they are planning a trip to Belvedere Gardens - theres a park, a big woodland walk, donkeys, a lake etc.. she loves it down there.
Oops... have just realised how long this post is!! sorry for boring you to tears!! xx
Hope you are all well!
