Used 30 syns today which is very high but only 2 syns on junk food. Not feeling too bad about this.
The reason the syns are so high is because I was stuck for time this evening and ended up having my dinner way later than normal. Therefore I was starving while on the go and I reached for the nuts and cereal bar which was 12syns. Also it left me late for organising dinner so I used what was in the freezer hence the fish in sauce and the wedges!

Lost 2lbs this evening at my weigh in. Happy with that. Would have liked 3lbs because my own sneaky weigh in showed 3 on Sunday!
But i'll take the 2 and be happy.

This weekend I'm having engagement drinks with both sets of families and friends. I'll be drinking vodka and there will be plates of party food. I'll try to be on my best behavior! I never lose weight the weekends I drink, my body gets very bloated and I can be up 4 or 5lbs after and it takes a full week for it to return to normal. Often resulting with a gain at weigh in. But on the rare occasion I lose weigh while drinking! Hopefully this week will be one of them.

Hi Jen, thanks for reading!

Well yesterday was a disaster. I drank a lot more than I expected so I was really hung over. Couldn't eat at all until about 6pm. I just picked at my friends curry cheese chips and had a bag of crisps and a good few haribo.
Finally the hunger kicked in at about 9pm but I was too ill to cook so ordered duck pancakes from the chinese! Not an ideal day but its not every week you have an engagement party, so not too upset about it.

Back on track today! Weigh in tomorrow......

well done on your 2lb weight loss so far.

I can totally understand your desire to slim down for your wedding. I've been a bridesmaid 4 times and 3 of them I am ashamed by how I look and desperately upset that I can't go back and do anything about the pictures. I can't imagine how that would feel as a bride. Two of my friends were very unhappy at their appearance on their wedding day. At the time they said they were happy but have since confessed they hate their wedding pictures and are really upset about it.

Don't put too much pressure on yourself, but nothing wroing with having a nice incentive. And you've given yourself plenty of time to do it sensibly - not some lunatic crash diet 6 weeks before the event.
 
Thanks Blondcat. Ya I'm trying to do it as healthy way of living as opposed to a diet. I want to get the weight off and keep it off. I've done plenty of crash diets, pills and shakes and I realise now that none of them will work. It takes dedication and persistence and to get back on the horse as quick as possible after a slip. I'm thinking about giving up alcohol in the new year for a while because when I drink it really affects me and my diet becomes disastrous so I think for the new year I'm gonna give it up for a while and only drink on really special occasions! I
I''ve a lot to look forward to this Christmas, several parties and the usually nights out christmass week. So if I maintained for the Christmas or put on max 2/3 pounds I'd be very happy come January!!
i really really don't not want to have regrets about my wedding day so I need to be persistent. I'm also hoping to do a lot more exercise. I've damaged my hip somehow and I'm limited to just walking and swimming at the moment until I see a specialist next week so hopefully he'll have some good news for me.

That's me revised plan! Originally I planned to lose 4lbs but that was always going to be impossible. 4 days in France, 8 massive nights out not to mention Christmas Day and Boxing Day!! It's now an exercise in damage limitation!!

Weigh in day!! Lost 1.5lbs! I'm absolutely delighted. Did not expect to lose this week as I had two chineses and my party on Saturday. It was prob a fluke cos I wouldn't normally lose weight on a week like that. Really want to lose another 1.5lbs this week to get me to a stone off since I got engaged. Gonna be super good in case the weekend catches up with me!
