to which i replied "eurgh! who would want to eat a WHOLE pack of cookies!?" then i thought...me! i did only a few months ago - without batting an eyelid!" but now...woah! lol
and the what a boring life comment...i thought how sad ur life must be to find excitment in a pack of cookies!? lol which again i would have thought the same only a few moinths ago, but now im wanting to go out and do things rather than stay in and eat! lol xXx

Great mental attitude... go you...xx
 
Loolahoop that is an excellent NSV, being able to see food is a different light and find enjoyment in things other than food is the main thing we aim for along with smaller versions of ourselves.
 
I was offered macdonald fries and a cheeseburger by my sister today and i said no thanks. I was looking after my nephew in the afternoon and he too had a cheese burger and small fries. I handled the burger and put it on the plate and did the same for the fries. Not once did anything touch my lips or accidentally fall into my mouth.
I just sat on the sofa eating part one of my healthy b ( alpen lights ) and some fruit.

I am well proud of meself. Temptation was so near but i resisted :0)
 
People at work today were commenting on my loss so far, saying they noticed I was losing weight, and asked me how much I'd lost and how long it took me, when I told them their jaws hit the floor, made me feel really great :D
 
I bought some shorts about 3 months ago as a target for my holiday - size 12 from gap. At the time I totally couldn't do them up and there's was about a 2 inch gap at the waist and they cut into my legs. Today, the day I go on hol, they fit! Ok so I have a big muffin top going on and the crinkly skin on my stomach is far from attractive but I'm made up, esp as I haven't lost a single pound since around then even tho I've been hammering the gym - so happy!! :D x
 
My gym is closed this evening because of some motor race thing they're holding tomorrow (?!!) so instead of not doing my workout... I went before before work! Three miles run before 8.30 a.m. I am amazed by my willpower :D

I've just completed 1 hour on the exercise bike doing between 30 & 40 mph. When I started this plan I struggled to do 15 minutes at 20 to 25 mph.
 
I went to my GP yesterday because my knees are making noises and clicking and hurt while I exercise and it was some new doctor, unfortunately she said I have arthritis (at the age of 32!!) but the good part is she said I need to lose a little bit of weight :D, OK, I'll explain, I lost over 3 stones so now little bit of weight is good, I am just fat not very fat or very obese :D
 
My OH's 18 yr old niece has been staying with us for the last couple of days and when she saw me on Friday she said Oo you look really different....have you had your hair cut? Then she said oh my god you've lost loads of weight!! You can really tell :) we've had such a laugh looking through my food directory working out how many syns she's eaten this week even though she's not following slimming world.....all I can say is eeeeek!!! Lol
 
Last night I completed my first ever half marathon :) started at Midnight and completed in 3 hours 35 mins (not allowed to run or jog it but by Christ I can get a good stride going on a walk :D)
I aimed for 3 lbs off to get my 7 stone shiny this week but to be honest - if I don't get it this week I won't lose any sleep over it as THIS is a huge achievement for me.

I have run 10k this morning - I've been working up to it over the last few weeks and did it in just under an hour. Am quite proud of myself! Now, then aim is to get the time down, but am just so pleased I managed it without having a heart attack :)

Also, my sister has just arrived and mentioned my weight loss - she said I look a good size now and would be fine to stay as I am, without losing anymore weight. I'm aiming to lose a bit more, but was really happy to hear that I look ok as I am (size 12/14).

Just been reading through and there are some amazing NSVs!

Well done. I fancy doing something like that.
 
Is that more from firming the area or just deadening it to pain?
I think the 15 miles to work will have to wait a while longer yet!!
 
Coljack I feel your pain, or mire accurately I have felt it, I sat on d spin bike in the summer and swore never again bug now I csn be on s bike for hours with no discomfort, just keep going and you will start to realise it hurts less, then not at all!
Well done on the bike ride, did you enjoy it ?
 
I met a girlfriend of my other halfs friend this weekend, we'd been out all night and they came back to ours. She was really looking at a photo of my OH and I and after a while asked if it was me! It'd been taken a few years back when I was much bigger. She said she didn't recognise me!
