O/T Mac code!

Hi i got my mac code from bt as contract has ran out today, i rang sky and tried to give them the mac code but it has been 33 days since i got the mac code so it is no longer valid. I am wondering what will happen then, i mean will bt give me a new mac code or will i have to pay for a new one? Can anyone help? Stressfull day....no sorry stressfull week!!
