well folks i have taken the plunge

CS just not working for me i just seem to crave food, its TOTM which may be why, but just eaten a pack of biscuits. so angry at myself but made me realise i may have lost nearly two stone but i need a break from food to sort out my issues and re-establish my relationship with food.



now, i am going home next friday for a week, back to NI... do i go straight on to exante, or do i have a week off... let my body adjust to normal eating then exante it.

wondering what wil provide best weight loss

In the long run, a month's worth of exante will still give you the same amount of 'loss', regardless of when you start it. In the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter when you start. You will still have lost the same amount 28 days after you start.

Things you need to consider though:-

1) you are going home for a week. Is the first week of a TFR going to be manageable? you may have some side effects, you will have to explain, you will have to get the hang of it. Can you do all of that in front of other people? Considerable extra pressure when embarking on a potentially difficult diet? Dunno mate, we don't know your family!

2) Do you want a week off to get your head together? Any parties or meals planned? taking a week out is not such a bad idea, as then you could spend a week going as low carb as possible, which might alleviate some of the 'first week' symptoms..

If you take a week off, you may gain a lb or two. Meh. In the bigger picture that's not a huge deal, normal people's weight goes up and down all the time.

Would delaying things until your return put *you* in a position to be more successful?

my mum and dad are in england, going to NI with the OH who will support me no matter what i do ( he had cake earlier and went and ate it in the car so i wouldn't smell it)

week in NI is to see grand parents, who know i am on celeb slim which is low carb as it is. i'm "ON" today, wen't made needed chocolate and ate nearly a whole pack of chocolate biscutis made me realsie CS isn't changing things its only a means of loosing weight i know the rulles yet i can bend them

just back from a ten mile walk and feeling better curled up with a hot chocolate now- low carb
