out and about

OK so summer holidays start on Friday!

What do you do when you are out and about? I dont want to spent 6 weeks in the house but I dont want to ruin my diet daily by eating out (thinking theme parks, days at the beach). Some days I can take a picnic but if ive nipped into town and the children want a pasty or mcdonalds I dont know what I would have!! (a plain salad really doesnt do anything for me!)

Some of the M&S salads aren't too bad - like the orzo pasta or the veg cous cous as oposed to leaf type salald - don't float my boat either! Or the pre packed fruit which is syn free. You can use your hexB for wholemeal bread on pre-made sarnies too and take off 6 syns.

Some of the M&S sushi roll packs are around 1/2 - 3 syns and are really filling.
Jacket potato with beans.
I too struggle with days out, esp when everyone else is having ice cream!
