We had tears and triumphs here after the final. My six year old, who had started off with Emilie as her favourite and then switched to Jessica, and then to Danielle as the others got voted off, was ecstatic that her favourite had won it.
My three year old however, who had seemingly shown very little interest in the actual programme but who did sit with us to watch the final, cried for about 10 minutes because she had wanted Sophie to be the winner. It was real heartfelt gutteral crying too, poor mite. Thinking back over time though, about 6 weeks ago we went to a garden centre and I treated her to a toy monkey because she had finally managed toilet training and her reward chart was full, and she called that Sophie, so maybe this is a longer term love affair than I had taken notice of.
