Not necessarily (unfortunately). Some things have syns because of the way they are processed to get them into a tin/jar/etc.
Tinned fruit is a good example - tinned pineapple has syns, but if you go and get a fresh pineapple, that's syn-free. The same goes for pureed or cooked fruit (e.g. apples), fruit smoothies and juices, etc - that process of cooking or mashing up attracts syns.
