I have been watching the Paul McKenna programmes I can make you thin and while watching I realised that his four rules can be used alongside sw.I mean eat when hungry,eat what you want,eat consciously and stop when full. Not rocket science when you stop and think about it.

Sounds like pure commonsense but who actually thinks about it until someone basically slaps you round the face with it.

Because that is what that programme did to me - slapped me round the face.And I also think the info / techniques about cravings and emotional eating will come in handy even if I feel abit daft doing them.:wave_cry:

Well I am going to put these principles into practice aswell as following the sw plan ans see if it makes any difference to my weightloss and attitude towards food.

I am going to weigh myself today to get an idea of what I put on over xmas and then start my ticker etc all over again for this new year !

Hello there,

I've bought the book after xmas and started with it on monday this week. I am listening to the mind programming CD every evening and read bits and bobs in the book every night. I have to say ai absoloutely love it. It is soooo simple and just the fact that u know you r A) not on a diet and B0 do not have to sacrifice or miss out on any foods make me very calm. it's a thing that i do aside, it's not like all the other diets where the whole day evolve's around what you can eat, when, how much etc.

I lost near to 6 stone last year with Lipotrim and after i came off i noticed that it didn't fix the problem. I put a stone back on as i slowly but surely fell back into my old habbits. As you would being an emotional eater.

So i stopped stressing and the McKenna Method is the best ever. I even have the motivation to go to the gym, nearly long for it and that is a milestone. Anyway miss I hope it'll work well for ya, but I am 100% positive it will. I will keep you updated on how i get on and how much I've lost after 2 weeks. Can't wait to see that! :)

Thanks for letting me know your experience of the system as I am going to purchase it when the OH next gets paid as he is really interested in it also.

A work colleague has the cds and swears by them. She bluetoothed them to my phone and I listened last night, I can't say I feel any different ( but then as it is subconcious I wouldn't would I :)) but I am willing to give it a try alongside SW. As you say, it is common sense stuff, but sometimes we need to hear it from someone else.
