Hopefully this is a picture of merlin. She's 15. Blind, deaf, epileptic, toothless and her back legs are going, but she's still going strong. She's in desperate need of a trim but can't bring myself to take her ( our other doggie passed away on the way home from the canine beauty parlour 2 yrs ago and kind of think the same thing could happen to her )

He'd been very I'll for about 4 years. He'd had a rectal prolapse, necrotic bowel and all sorts of other associated complications. We were lucky that the vet had saved him back in 2008 ( not cheap but worth it). But it was his heart that finally have out we think. He was 13 which is a really good age for yorkies.

She's so old now that she spends most of her time sleeping and nicking cups of tea!!! She's very set in her ways and currently refuses to go for a walk. You open the door and she gives a dirty look then takes herself off to my bed and curls up!!!

I think we were lucky. It happened while we were away on holiday. My mom had taken them to be trimmed as a surprise for us getting home and he just fell asleep in the car. She phoned us and told me so me and OH had a few days to come to terms with it before we had to tell number 1 on our last day. Number 2 was only 2 and number 3 was 8 weeks old so neither of them knew much about it. But every now and then number 2 will say 'scrubby' when we are looking for merlin in the house. OH swears he's seen him sometimes from the corner of his eye, lay under the babies bed. He also says he hears yapping in the night and it makes him go check on the little 2. Every time it happens one of them is always in trouble. Usually it's number 3 with his bum stuck in the toilet!!!!!!

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

I'm in tears, our cat has gone missing!! She never came home last night before bed, she wasn't there this morning and STILL not back!! She's never gone this long! I've been out in the car looking for her I can't find her, dunno what to do!!! No matter how bad it's raining or snowing she ALWAYS comes home :,( I'm so upset

Have you got a local spotted site on fb or selling pages? Alot of people have put their missing pet pics on there and been reunited.

Leave some biscuits outside to tempt her home maybe.

My cat went missing for 4 hours once and I was distraught so I know how you feel I really hope she comes home xxxxxx

Well you know your own cat so don't listen to people. She could have got trapped in someone's house or shed or something so she may be back later. If not then you could knock on doors or put a poster up xxxxx

Yes, I was just going to ask if any of your neighbours have a garage or shed she might have got locked in, that's a fairly common thing with cats, and she might have been sheltering from the rain - might be worth asking around. Hope she turns up soon. xx
