Planning to reach Goal - EE Food Diary

    I have taken the advise of others on this forum to start this food diary to get myself back on track. I have not had a loss for about 4 weeks and gained 1/2lb this week !!! :confused:

    I am going away this weekend with the girls so I will use flexible syns and for the next few days I am going to do Success Express.

    I find it hard to get my head around success express so would be grateful for any advise.

    I will be back later to post my food for the day.:)

    Ok here is todays food diary

    Breakfast
    Chocolate Weetabix (HexB & 2syns)
    Milk (1/2 HexA)
    easy peeler orange
    apple

    Snack
    Low fat natural yogurt (1syn)
    apple
    Banana
    easy peeler orange

    Lunch
    Spicy lentil veg soup (1 syn)
    made with tomatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, lentils, courgette, brocolli tomato puree
    Large side salad - cucumber, tom, lettuce, peppers, boilded egg

    Snack
    Hi-Fi Bar (HexB)
    apple

    Dinner
    Grilled chicken & 1 tbsp curry sauce (3 syns)
    Rice
    roasted peppers, carotts, courgette, sweet pot. with side salad and free salad dressing
    carrot sticks & almond butter 10g (3 syns)
    milk in 2 cups of tea (1/2 hexA)

    total syns 10


    Not so sure that I am following success express right but I will see how it goes!

    I've not done sucess express either , but where EE is 2/3rds free 1/3rd superfree , the sucess express is 1/3rd free and 2/3rd superfree

    I am back this morning from a great weekend away! I had the best time but I lost count of flexible syns around lunchtime on Saturday :eek:

    I did do lots of walking so I am hoping will help !!

    Food Diary for today

    Breakfast

    1 Slice of Wholemeal toast (heb)

    Snack
    Plums
    Strawberries

    Lunch
    chicken
    potatoes
    carrots
    Cabbage
    Stuffing (3syns)
    Gravy (1 syn)

    Tea

    Muller light

    Lots of green tea and water through out the day.

    Are you continuing on the success express? I have not heard of this myself, so would be interesting to know how you are finding it before an attempt at it myself :)

    I have done Success Express the last couple of days its basically 2/3superfree and 1/3 free with only superfree for snacks. You get 2 heA and Bs and syns as normal you have to ask your consultant for the leaflet.

    I am going to go back to extra easy for this week and see how I get on. I think the success express is good to break a plateau or get you back on track.

    Huge green salad
    with chicken, carrot, tomatoes, low low cheese (hea)

    Beef in gravy with carrots, mushrooms and potatoes (2 syns for gravy)
    Small Glass of white wine (6 syns)

    Total Syns 10
    Water Green tea, and rest of hea in tea

    I lost 1.5 lb this week so after my weekend away I am really pleased with this. I am going to try Extra Easy this week and use 10 syns a day to see how that works for me. I want to save a few syns for a night out over the weekend.

    good day but then Pizza hut!!!

    Ok heres todays confession !!!

    tomatoes & mushrooms

    lunch
    Fruit salad & muller light
    Granola (homemade 5syns)

    Dinner - Pizza Hut
    2 slices of thin crust seafood pizza (24 syns)
    1/2 portion of wedges (4 syns)
    Side salad no dressing

    Diet coke and water to drink
    Milk in tea/coffee for hea

    Total syns 33 !!!!!!!! :eek:

    Oh so wanted to have a better day today going out tomorrow night so wanted to save my syns for that. I will try to go for a good walk tomorrow and try to make up for it!! :sigh:

    Spinach Salad with carrot tomato peppers balsamic vinegar.
    Boiled egg

    Alpen Light Bar (1/2 heb)

    Chicken Breast (no skin)
    2 very small roast potatoes cooked with a little oil (5 syns)

    hot skimmed milk (1/2 Hea)
    I used the rest of my 300ml of milk in tea throughout the day!

    Just found out today I am actually 5ft 5" and not 5ft 4" that i always thought I was! Instant drop in BMI love it :p
