I'm going to my first LL meeting this Thursday evening and will start on Friday. Later this morning I'm going to my GP to get my medical form signed - have no idea whether the doctor is going to be supportive or not, but I hope that's not going to be a problem.
I cycled from Greenwich to Richmond yesterday - 21.3 miles in one go without a break, plus another 7 miles on the way back (I got a train for some of it) and I feel slightly sad that will be the last time I can do that kind of distance for a while, but it'll be worth it! I tell you that doing that amount of exercise really puts calories from things like a big slice of cake into perspective! A chocolate caramel shortbread takes about an hour of cycling to burn off!
