Potato bake syns??

    Please can someone be ever so kind and work the syns out in these:

    The cheese & leek one when made up with 100ml semi skimmed milk is per 1/2 pack:

    Kcal 189
    Protein 5.5g
    Carbs 33g
    Fat 3.9g
    Fibre 3.1g

    The mushroom and garlic one :

    Kcal 187
    Protein 5.8g
    Carbs 32.9
    Fat 3.5g
    Fibre 2.2g

    Yes but as the main food in it is potato will it have a free food allowance

    Is the potato dried potato or fresh potato? (I'm assuming dried?)

    How big is the pack that those numbers refer to?

    OK after a google it seems the pack size is 85g right?

    This is pretty hard to do as those numbers are for 1/2 a pack including 100g of milk, so I'm assuming half of 85 which is 42.5, plus 100g for the milk = 142.5

    So using dried potato as a free food and saying the half pack including milk weighs 142.5 g they both come out at:

    2 Syns per package/portion (ie per 1/2 pack made up)

    Id be seriously uneasy about using figures like this though as the way you have to calculate it is so dodgy. :confused: Id just syn the thing at 1 syn per 20 calories.
