PP restarter looking for mentor/partner

Hiya,

Welcome to ww minimins side of the site. How are you getting with the plan??

This site is brilliant for support, everyone is great and there is always someone here when we need them. If you need anything let me know and I'll try and help,( click on my diary in my signature if you want to ask me anything).

Have you tried starting a food diary in the section above, and joining in on some of the others, like the weigh day threads and the November thread.

Best of luck and ask away at questions. x

Livi,

I am completely in the same boat, need to lose realistically about 6 stone but seem to lose a bit gain a bit. I need a kick up the bum to push on but have so many distractions I need someone to help.

Have you just joined weight watchers ?

I'm exactly the same. I've lost 15 half lbs, fell off the wagon & just lost it completely. When I was on SW I had a text buddy. Someone I was paired with in class & we used to text each other on a regular basis sayin things like "lost the willpower, what to do for tea or even had a good day" etc etc. It really worked for me as I had someone to chat & share ups & downs with and had support out of class.

It's a very good idea, I am hoping using this website on my phone, I can get support when I need it as you all understand.

My sister & my mum come to WW with me but they haven't got hardly anything to lose and I find them more of a hindrance than support. When I went on my own I lost more weight, it's not their fault but I think I get more comfortable if they are there with me.

I am so determined to lose weight as I want things to be different & to start a family. I know it's not safe at the moment for me to do so. I have a reason to do it but why is my will power so rubbish !!!

My willpower is rubbish at the mo too. When I was in the zone & had the willpower it's cos I had other choices available to me. Like for example do I want the family sized bag of revels for 35pp or shall I let the kids share em & I'll ave a frozen mars bar for 5pp all to myself. I had the mars bar chopped up in little slices & I made it last longer than their revels. How good did I feel after? Fanbloomintastic!!!!!!! Instead of the feelin of "oh I've failed again"
Good luck , you CAN do it xxx

Hey there Gemalinaboo - I know exactly what you mean. I used to attend weight watchers with my mum and she used to take over the classes all the time cos she's quite a loud woman. I cope much better on my own too. Could you go to another class? sometimes its better to go to a lunchtime class if you can manage it? Keep your will power going...think that every pound is showing them you can do it. Emms x

Hey there Livi, :D
My first week was disappointing even though I stuck tot he diet religiously - but my second week I lost 4lbs... don't be downhearted - 3lbs is a great start.
