A friend of mine who has been doing Cambridge for a while now has just found out she's pregnant (they weren't trying) obviously as of today she's stopped doing soulsource and is sticking to a healthy diet but she's worried that as she could be up to 8 weeks pregnant and has been using the Cambridge shakes the whole of that time that she may have done the baby some damage. Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated as shes sat with me now and is really worried.

Baby should be fine....I think I was still on CD whenI became pregnant and all is well.......it wont cause damage but as mum will need more calories now to help her growing baby...this is why she has to stop.

I got pregnant when i was ss-ing too, i think i was about 4-5 weeks pregnant without realising. I'm sure she will be fine....think of all the people who are non stop sick for the first 3 months..their babies still flourish. I'm not an expert but i'm sure she will be fine xx

It wasn't expected so emotional is all i can say the moment. Bless her. I'm sure once it sinks in she'll be feeling a bit less shell shocked.

Congrats to your friend! I love being a mummy :)

I would tell her not to worry-I didnt eat anything but a slice of dry toast and an apple for nearly 12 weeks due to sickness with my last set of twins and it didnt do them any harm at all :) At least she was getting the nutrients from the packs which is more than an apple and a bit of toasts does lol
