    Hi all,

I'm hoping to start SS on 21st Feb and have given the medical form to my dr to sign (BMI over 40). The CDC just said to get the form done and she can see me on the 21st to get started and get the shakes. I'm a teacher and it is important that I start during half-term.

But the letter she gave me said about a preparation phase before each stage if the diet. Is there anything I should be doing this coming week in preparation?

cutting down on your carb intake will help ease u into it a bit more - the first week is crappy anyway so preparing your body by easing off the carbs just makes having to deal with carb withdrawal that little bit easier. Xx

Here, here, no last minute binge, but cut out the carbs and up your water intake. By the time half term is over you'll be well into ketosis and enjoying the weight loss. Good luck x
