QUEEN SIZE TO PRINCESS

Evening all - you'll be relieved to hear that I have kept my halo firmly in place and didn't even have a crumb of cake - despite the fact that the girls at work were using the desk next to me to cut the cheesecake on and then gathered round, exclaiming that it was the most divine cheesecake they'd ever eaten! :girlpower:

Well done Patsy, Chocolatebutton and Bev - keep up the good work! We're really motoring on this team aren't we!

I went out for a meal tonight and managed to have a lovely meal with only about 10 syns used, so I'm feeling really proud of myself (and really stuffed!)

Bev - thanks for that., now I've got visions of a cheesy 70s porno involving a plumber with rippling biceps and a big moustache in my head?!!!:eek::eek: (Not that I've ever seen one mind, someone just told me about it... honest!)

LOL at Sian - if you're Violet Beauregarde, does that make us your oompah lumpahs?! :D

Enjoy your day off Louise - don't spend it all with Michael and Lincoln (or I will be jealous)!

evening all sorry i havent been around lifes just been manic of late ...i havent got time to back read two weeks of posts so ill just say welldone and hugs to you all .....my weight loss is going good ..i lost 2 and a half last week and four this week and got slimmer of the week so im well happy

Sweetchant1lly and Chocolate Buttons - fabulous losses girls! Well done you! :D

I've just done my first workout on EA Sports Active. OMG!! I can hardly feel my legs! It was only 20 minutes on Easy. I'm so unfit

It has, however, reaffirmed my previous belief that my body is not designed to:

a) Run
b) Lunge anywhere, unless there's a chocolate bar at stake!

;) Hee hee!

Sian xxx

EDIT: On the plus side - I did burn off 220 calories, woo! :D

Morning tribe,

capricorn...

I could just imagine your shoulders going up and down while emitting the classic
he he he he sound. :doggy:It's a body movement so it must qualify for body magic! Well done that girl for exercising! :angel09:

Bev...
What are you playing at tasting a plumber, do you know how many sins are in them.:yuk: Good god girl I thought you were taking the SW way seriously.:roofles:

p.s the shovel and pick are in my BIG curry pan on boil! If I remember rightly one of our team works in a hospital and she would appreciate my efforts at minimizing the risk of MRSA while I do a Lobotomy! on you!:character00264:

Dudette...
Hunnie don't worry, blueberries are ss food and blue is the new black this season. :D Keep working on the wee hun, it will get easier the more you do!;) I was the same when I started swimming, I rested more than I swam!

Chocolate button, sweetchant1lly...

You were too slow hun, you should have made the biggest sneeze right over that desk and then informed them you think swine flu is back!!!!:sign0151: Well done for turning the other cheek, I hope they were all sat on the :sick0019: last night due to over indulging!

Well today I am swimming, gluing (Faithy has put her order in for today, gwoo and paper mamma) The kids are all home for tea, so its patsy's caff, I wont be eating though because Wed nights is my girly night out! We go to a lovely Italian in town, the paella is to die for:eating:. So a nice day I finks!:)

Right... on with the day, will bob back when I stop for my top up of coffee!!!:coffee:

Hi everyone, Sorry I havent been around but after a brill week of sticking to plan I went totally wrong over the weekend, Took my mam out for a meal we ended up at an italian called Alforno it was sooo gorgeous, then lots and lots of rose wine :(
I know I done crap last week too and usually I would give up completely but im back on track, Its the weekends that totally lets me down.. Im at a 30th party on friday so im planning on eating before I go so im not hungry or stick to syn free foods when Im here.. Yummy salad lol.

Does anyone know where I can find an interactive slimming world diet dairy sheet like the one you get in class but I can do it online? My printers broke so I cant print one out and Im not back at class until next Tuesday :/

This week I plan on keeping my syns as low as possible through the week then using a few extra at the weekend then having a syn free day on Sunday,Monday & Tuesday before my weigh-in on Tuesday night..Do you think that could possibly work? x

Morning all:)

Just a quickie before I tackle the dump also known as my house....

Well done on the losses so far this week. We're going in the right direction.:D 4.5 off for me, it stopped 1/2lb off my next award. That always happens and I never see the teeny .5 bit on the scales so get all excited and then realise. Poooooooo!

Last week I let things slip a little, nothing major but I didn't cook much. Nibbled on fruit and salad all week long then had 2 meals out so while it's done me no harm I need to start cooking properly again or I'll be bored soon. Boredom is bad! Going to do an all green week again, it's been a while and I had a great big loss last time so fingers crossed. Anyone coming round for risotto tonight? :eatdrink023:

Stacey, you can use the food diary on the SW website. I haven't tried it but know there is one.

Have a great day everyone, keep off those scales! Off for some cleaning body magic ugggh. xx

patsy your grandaughter sounds so sweet, hope she has fun with her arts and crafts today, enjoy your girlie night out:D.

can i ask you girlies something, how much fluids do you drink in a day?

At last my monthly's have been all over the place, sorry tmi but i thought it had emigrated:eek: i'm hoping now that the bloated feeling will go, next week i can :asskick:to these unwanted pounds:D.

sorry to share that with you, i wont even start on hormones being skipity:eek:.

have a good day all:)
xx

I drink a 2 litre bottle of water before I can start on the diet coke in the evening. Normally by then I feel like I'm drowning so don't bother with the coke though. So I don't drink a huge amount but try and make it count with water. I really have to work on it, I just don't feel the need to drink a lot naturally.

well only since sunday have i drunk 2litres of squash i've measured how much ive drunk, and i know that's more than i normally have,i always thought i drank enough but ive shocked myself.thanks for your reply laura.:)

Good Morning ladies, and what a wonderful morning it is. Obviously not weatherwise but my head is well and truely back in the game after my lack of motivation yesterday!
Had fruit, ff yoghurt and a hi fi bar for brekkie, leftover chilli for lunch and I think I'm gonna go for hunters chicken for dinner, feel like I need something that feels naughty!

Well done to all the Tuesday weighers, you have done us all very proud!

I hope everyone has a good day, got a follow up appointment for my fractured elbow, intend on kicking up a fuss as the pain when exercising is awful, obviously wasn't a problem before LOL!

Xxxxx

Nurse Lou is available to stand by to assist with the lobotomy patsy!!!

Surreygal, i drink between 2-3 litres of water per day. Sometimes little bit more. I feel really dehydrated now if i dont drink enough. I think the guidelines are 2 litres per day, i personally cant drink anymore than 3, its just too much, and you can overload your kidneys by drinking anymore. But, lots of people do drink more and are fine! individual thing innit! i would say that you should maybe drink a little more than you are though xx

Thanks louise.i do have a couple of hot drinks with my milk allowance as well and i have started having a hot squeezed lemon drink as well,i used to drink more but the last few weeks ive noticed i havent been:(.
hope you are enjoying your day off hun:D.

Morning all!

Well done Lily and Laura - fantastic losses! I'm sure you'll smash past your next award next week Laura!

Patsy - why on earth didn't I think of that! Will keep it up my sleeve for the next bake-in! Or I could walk past and 'accidently' nudge the desk, causing them all to fall on the floor! :D

Stacey - I've made my own food diary in Word - it's just a plain table with spaces for daily free, HEs and syns.

Sian - we should make a 'Queen size to princess' fitness DVD. I can just see us all lunging at giant chocolate bars! We could string a line of goodies about 18 inches off the floor as an incentive to complete sit-ups! 'Up, two, three, lick! Down, two, three, swallow!'

Surreygal - I'm hopeless at drinking cold drinks, but I think I probably get through 2 litres of green tea and black coffee every day - does that count?!

Corsacar - you go, girl! It feels fab when you wake up in the morning feeling really motivated, doesn't it!

Have a great day everyone! x

Good afternoon ladies

Tis a glorious one here... I have done 40mins just dance -should have been 1hr, but mum rang before I had done -so i will no doubt do some more later;)

Well done on the losses folks:happy036:

Sureygal -I drink between 3-4.5lt of sparkling water a day, but I have always drunk a lot, athough its increased with me doing some exercise obviously. I know its a lot to some, but for me its normal -I don't drink SF dilute of SF fizzy drinks very often as I don't like the asparthame(sp?) stuff they put in them-I used to be a diet cola monster moons ago.

Im had a bowl of fruit n yog for brekkie, lunch is a big prawn salad and dinner is gammon steak (well 1/2 a one as they are huge) with roasted carrot, parsnip, onions + red peppers with green beans.... mmmm
I have done my meal plan -and I will still have a heA and 10syns left to use :sign0151:

I think Im going to sit down today after lunch and do a menu plan for next week...
right Im off to get my lunch sorted..
have a super duper day everyone...and keep at it..we ar heading in the right direction :D

Evening ladies!

Just a quick post as I'm about to go and make my supper :) Hope we're all well today!

I just wanted to tell you all how pleased I am with myself. A group of us from school are going out for a meal on Friday night (one of our LSA team is retiring :)), and we had to pre-order our meal. I shunned all the lovely, but unhealthy, sounding food, and went for Pasta Napoli - pasta with tomato, onion, garlic basil sauce and melted cheese. Not bad hey! What I really fancied was the Slow cooked Pork and Apple casserole, or the Caramelised Chicken Breast, but I was strong! Now all I have to do is avoid the desserts (which include a bread & butter pudding with chocolate pieces and Baileys  ) and try not to drink too much! Lol! :D

How many syns would you allow for the pasta dish? I don't know whether there's going to be oil in it  I guess I could always scrape some of the cheese off it to reduce the syns :)

Sian xxx

Things only 'jump' into my mouth when I've had a drink....................trouble is I always have a drink! :8855:

I've got a date on Friday night and he wants to take me for a meal :D Mind, if I'm eating at least I can't drink  :8855:

Ooooooo, a date hey! You saucy minx! You kept that one quiet :p I'm pretty good when I've had a drink to be honest. no post-alcohol munchies for me. Could have something to do with having to walk over a mile up a big hill to the nearest takeaway ;) xxx
