Question about alcohol

I know it's a good bit away before I can have alcohol which does not bother me as I drink usually about once every 2 months if that. However, looking at the week by week list on Sean's guide it looks like alcohol is restricted right through...even up until week 12 it looks like there are only some allowed. I like a little Southern Comfort now and again, anyone any idea if/when this would be allowed?

Have a look at Week 5 RTM guide... I believe white spirits and small quantities of white wine would be ok since they are very low Gi. White spirits in their measures aren't very calorific either : Per 1 bar measure it's about 52 calories (vodka, gin, etc). A glass of wine is considerably more, but again, you wouldn't drink a glass size measure of spirits!

It's a question of moderation and being able to control yourself when being under the influence. And most drinks which do contain sugar (liqueurs, coctails etc) can be surprisingly calorific per drink.

A little Southern Comfort probably won't be too bad - look up the calorie values and act accordingly! :) I know I certainly still count the liquid calories and try to always account/balance my day if I want a night out with some wine! And I don't drink much either - maybe once a month or so, if that.
