Quick need to do some damage control!

    Needing some damage control as yesterday I may have gone over my syns.

    I was trying to be good but went to Ikea - nothing much to choose from, salad bar looked awful, no soup, so got chicken with pasta and veg in a pea sauce.

    Saturday night is our take away night so I got chicken tikka massala (14.5 syns)

    I weight myself daily - yes i know i shouldnt but i do and i have put on 1lb, i know its from the indian - now what can i do to get that 1lb off again asap before weigh in.
    I have been soooooo good this week damn take away night - just gonna stick to homemade takeaway from now on

    I have a huge bowl of fruit salad for breakfast

    You don't know if you have put on 1lb because the scales are not accurate. So carry on with the plan as usual eating lots of superfree and speed foods, and make sure you still have your syns. Your takeaway was within your daily syn allowance so why beat yourself up?! And you made a sensible choice at Ikea - it's not as is you stuffed your face with cake and biscuits. It's one meal out of 21 you have this week so please stop stressing about it.

    I agree with Circes, you have stayed within your allowance so why beat yourself up about it? Superfree and superspeed are the answer, with lots of water too. To be honest, I would wait until your WI day and see what happens there, weighing yourself everyday is evil as you can fluctuate so much as to which time of day it is.     I went way over my syns on Friday, but I enjoyed my treat, got straight back on plan after and have made sure I have lots of superfree. Remember than sw is meant to be a lifestyle change, not a diet, so it's ok to have treats occasionally, our consultant has always said 'life doesn't stop just because you have joined slimming world'.

    What I'm trying to say is don't worry, stick to plan now and it was only one day, you still have the rest of the week:)

    Sorry to be vulgar, but the only way what you ate last night would show as gain today is if it's still in your colon.
    If you went 3500 calories over your daily requirements then it will show up in a few days, but that's a lot of food or drink for one night. ( a 70cl bottle of smirnof red vodka is only about 1500 calories )

    Agreed, if you have gained a pound at this stage it will only be temporary and should level off in a couple of days. There is no way you need to be fretting on what you've eaten - I was expecting you to say you've had a massive binge for the last week! You're doing fine, hope weigh in goes well for you.

    And quite true, our c always says, its only one meal out of 21 in the week.

    Thx for advice, I ate very well today. Was at friends party and we all r doing sw so lunch was gorgeous buffet with loads of salad, was all free!

    Lots of water- flush it out of you.

    As someone above mentioned.....if you broke one egg out of 21 in a box, you wouldnt throw the box of eggs away just cos one was broken.

    Just keep going, and i am sure if you are 100% then there will be a loss on the official weigh in.
