Quick question about Ketosis

S: 11st10lb C: 9st5lb G: 9st9lb BMI: 20.5 Loss: 2st5lb(20.12%)
Hi peeps! I was wondering, I know it takes about 3 days to get into Ketosis when you start CD but does it take the same time if you've had a week of SS and then eat a carby meal and then get back on SS? Does it take as long to get back to ketosis? I hope I'm making sense... lol.

The reason why I'm asking is that I lost 2st for my wedding and got down to 9st 10lbs and went on my honeymoon. On honeymoon I didn't follow CD at all and just ate and drank what I liked for 2 weeks (OMG). On the day we got back to London, I went straight to my CDC and weighed in at 10st. Had my second weigh in yesterday and lost 6lbs which got me down to 9st 8lbs (wooo hooo!!!) but I had my parents for dinner and couldn't explain why I wasn't eating when I'm already "skinny" so I ended up having some lasagne.

So I was wondering if it would take another 3 days to get back in ketosis or if it takes a shorter amount of time as I only have a meal's worth of stored carbs....

I want to stick to SS until I'm just under goal (9st 4lbs maybe) so I have some allwance for blips as I move up the plans. Gosh I do ramble lol. I'd appreciate any help!

Not sure if this helps or not. I was ill at the weekend and had 2 days off, still took me 3 days to get back into ketosis. I guess all bodies are different. I still lost 1lb that week though with 5 days ss'ing and 2 days off. On 400cals'ish a day, I'm sure you'll still loose this week but not sure about how long Ketosis will take?
Well done for getting back on it after your meal though, go get that goal.

have no idea hun i'm afraid. I was told you have to eat a lot of carbs to kick you out but i guess its down to individual systems.
I think you have done super hun

I have no idea about the ketosis thing but I'm pretty sure that as soon as your BMI is under 25 you shouldn't be on SS anymore but on a higher plan. That's what I was told anyway.I could be wrong.

With a BMI of 21.3 the minimum plan you should be on is 810. You'll still lose weight and preserve lean tissue. You are risking your health by ssing with a BMI that low.
Congratulations on your fantastic loss and your marriage :)
