Reasons to enjoy doing the Cambridge Diet!

To Finally Imagine Yourself In That Wedding Dress You've Always Dreamt Of, And To Show Everyone Just How Damm Good You Look, And To Show OFF To Your Friend Whos A Bloody Size 8 (A Model) And To Take Full Body Pictures, Not Just Your Face.... o o o And To Wear A Bikini For The First Time... Cant Wait!!!!

Ive a long way to go before seeing the benefits yet but Im looking forward to:

Not being out of breath walking up stairs or a hill.
Being healthy and fit.
Wearing nice fitted clothes.
Having a waist.
Getting up off the floor gracefully.
Fitting in a car nicely with seatbelt where it should be.
Not worrying about situations where my weight would be an issue.
Better sex.
Not avoiding eating in public or going into food shops cos the people will stare.
To not look around every room I go in and think, "im the fattest person here".
To go out socialising again and feel confident instead of constantly thinking about my weight.

:)

I enjoy doing the Cambridge Diet because it's the one and only diet I've ever stuck to, having tried just about every other going.

But I've not just 'stuck' to it, I've enjoyed every (almost) minute of it, it hasn't been a chore, I haven't cheated and I've felt happier and healthier than I've done for over 20 years.

Every day I'm filled with happiness, at my own success, my improving looks and the compliments that are now starting to come in.

I feel good about myself in a way I can't ever remember feeling before (and I've still got a stone to go!!)

All the above but mostly thaking control. I was sick of losing control to food. You could almost let it take over so with the help of CD, my tummy has shrunk and my obsessive nature has subsided.

This is such a good thread that i thought it deserved a bump!

Fabulous Thread!

Mmmm........This could take a while!

The incresed energy
The 10 people per day who tell me how beautiful I am (I'm not bitter, I don't question 'was I not beautiful before'!)
Shopping in normal UK stores and even being able to shop in Chinese shops!
Being able to go skiing for the first time and not feeling embarrassed when falling and believing that everyone would laugh 'cos the fat woman fell over and can't get back up.
Not having so much back ache.
Being able to practice the yoga asana 'Child's pose' without having to open my legs wide to make room for my stomach!
Being much more flexible and adventurous in the bedroom :)rolleyes:)
Having people asking my hubby if he has a new wife!

There's probably a hundred more....I'll be back!

Having a new way to wind the husband up:D. I can drag him round every clothes shop in town looking for that one special dress just to buy the one I tried on in the first shop we went into 5 hours ago!!! Lol.

I have got a long way to go before i get to this point but...

1)Not having to feel guilty every time I eat, knowing that i will be getting fatter and fatter

2)Getting dressed for the day and thinking i look nice instead of dreading seeing people

3)Not having to feel guilty at the check out isle and trying to hide treats, as people will think "she doesnt need that"

4)Not going to the gym and feel self conscious and see people looking at me as if to say "id give up now if i were you its not going to help"

5)Not feeling as though im disgusting every time i look in the mirror!

xxx

Really inspirational stuff!

My daughters will grow up having a mummy who has a normal relationship with food, and they will learn from that and hopefully will never have the problems with food that I've had.

To get running again, and beat my old 'fastest' times.

To finally be a yummy (rather than slummy) mummy:D

Not to be the fattest mum in the playground when my little boy starts school :)
